You need to be content with small steps; steps you take every day so when you look down the road it all adds up and you know you've covered some distance.

The Texture Tuesday Theme: It's the little things. I love water droplets on flowers and going to the gardens with a new friend. It's the little things in life that makes it good.

Another Texture Tuesday. Loving going through the archives and playing with textures to get something absolutely amazing. I caught this scene as Ben and I were driving home after spending an afternoon with friends. I love sunsets and sunrises.
Textures are from Kim Klassen: KK2 from the May Magic Pack, Frame it, and subtly yours.
This week's challenge was to use at least one of Kim's textures on a floral image. I took this shot of a wild Sitka Rose a week ago and used Kim's "Sunday" and "Peony" textures in the processing, then added the image to a clipping mask, to create the frame.
this is just one of my many blessings, one of my many happiness(es). the textures i used were awaken and dreams. both seem very fitting for happiness to come in and stay awhile.
in my hurried state of doing this today...i see i've upped myself up a week. so...next week. i will be back with another something that makes me happy...sheesh!!!
this photo is a project for Day 3 of the Texturize class. I used the kk_aurora texture from the 2012 collection.
My contribution for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesdays...this week's theme was to pick a movie title. Mine is "Field of Dreams". I took this photo on a country road near Middleburg, VA with my new Lumix Panasonic camera. I used Kim's "Love" texture.
A field of dreams
Where clouds are bunnies
And time lulls lazily atop
The warm, green leaves
Of hazy summer trees.
a little heavenly hello to you ...
sorry to be so absent lately ...
wishing you sensational summery days!
