I love the morning light I get in my laundry room. I wish I had it in other areas too.

Played with some of Kim Klassen's textures on this one for Texture Tuesday

Luminous, soft light 27%

Empty Pages, overlay 50%

sepia filter

This one has a couple of Pioneer Woman actions, B&W adjustment, and a couple layers of Kim Klassen's Aurora texture at different blend modes. Thanks for looking!

Fantastic place, that I didn't even know existed. It's a huge cavern inside the Rock of Gibralter. I'd maybe heard about it in the past, but I had forgotten. There are chairs etc laid out inside for concerts!

Used Kim Klassen's Tea Time Texture for this old fashioned effect. Using textures and blending modes

Even though something has a rough side, if you look closely you may find some interesting, beautiful details. Zoom in! Shot for 7DOS, Repetition, Texture Tuesday.

Week #47 (w/b 31 May) Shadows - A strong light source will create great shadows so if you are lucky to be in bright sunshine this week then you should have no difficulty finding them. If your weather is not favourable for shadows then indoor lighting will create nicely defined shadows. Shadows can add so much to an image, they can highlight emotions, create surreal photographs and of course shadows themselves create fascinating photos. Please note that silhouettes are not considered to be shadows!

Step aside apples, it's celery I want. From the calming minerals to anti-inflammatory agents, to the fact that it balances alkalinity, and contains healthy, organic salt... Celery is a ROCK STAR of a vegetable. Shot for 7DOS, Weekly theme Favourite Fruits & Vegetables, Texture Tuesday.

From the archives - for 7DoS "In The Street" "Texture Tuesday"

someone would have been here a loooong time to see paint dry to this extent. This'll make for a neat texture in some other creation.

August 2015 "7 Days of Shooting" "Week #6" "If Only" "Texture Tuesday" If only I had hair like this :-)

I used Kim Klassen's texture Serendipity twice with blending modes. On one layer I rotated the texture. I used the darken blend mode.

Some masking was involved. These cups sit in an antique corner cupboard.
