I accidentally dug up a bunch of tulips from my front garden several years ago, and tossed them into the garden waste pile in the back yard. Each year they come up stronger than ever and I enjoy the touch of pale yellow brightness in the woodland area of my garden. Blended here with a texture image.
I collect all things made of wood, especially inlaid with natural minerals. I purchased this piece in Sedona, Arizona.

Shot taken last weekend in the forest on my way back from an attempt to walk up the Galatzó mountain that was frustrated by the fog. I spotted this branch and thought it had some interesting texture and colors.
