Put an island in the middle of the tropical bit of an ocean (here Reunion Island in the middle of Indian Ocean).

Make it receive tons of sunlight and tons of rain.

Fill it with a hot and moist atmosphere before you also fill it with mountains with sides just less vertical than walls.

There you go. You have it.

Impenetrable.

Also, it may look like a giant mess but it has to be another perfect natural organisation where, if you remove one element, the entire assemble may collapse.

Pretty much like me after trekking there for over a week.

Notice the texture of the dark wet sand on the top of the picture because of the low tide. Plus the effetc of the wind over the stream... it makes a cool odd image, isn't it?

EXPLORE!

My beautiful lioness-swan friend, Ellie modelled for me a few days ago. She took me to secret beach, a section that's gated off and very secluded [and also very rocky]- we saw maybe 3 other people there in the span of 2 hours. I'm learning to appreciate Toronto more and more, and this is definitely a great reason to do so - I've lived in Toronto almost my entire life and there is still so much of the city that I haven't seen!! It's huge!!

Trying my hand at textures on this one. I like the sky but a bit unsure of the church itself. Please feel free to critique on how to add textures. Texture courtesy of Skeletal Mess: www.flickr.com/photos/skeletalmess/

Took Artie and Ian's advice, but selected and deleted the sky instead of layer mask ( elements has limited layer mask use apparently ), then added the texture behind.

Also wanted to share one of my favorite songs by Jeremy Camp. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TipLsmZgjI

Read the lyrics as you listen.

There are no rhymes this Xmas - I don’t think they’re about;

they went with my gallbladder when they took the darn thing out.

This year has seen our village grow at alarming rates

so many of us live here now we’ve fortified the gates.

Our darling little Chloe, the light of our old eyes,

arrived at last in March (She’s healthy and she’s wonderful

and hardly ever cries).

It seems as though the sands of time are flowing all uphill

until we pick her up and ‘crunch’ we have to take a pill.

Ah well, small price to pay for such a delight.

If I’ve been out of touch and you’ve found me hard to reach

please won’t you just forgive me for I’ve lost my sense of speech.

Instead of talking Daly, Rich, Derrida and Foucault

I’m lying on the floor with Chloe going ‘yogle yogle yoh”.

which is quite seasonal don’t you think?

I’m on the brink of something big, I can just feel it

……..or maybe not.

What I really want to say is this:

I wish you joy and love and light

and that your Xmas tide be bright

I hope your wishes do come true

because I really care for you.

Now if I had my old gallbladder

I’m sure I could have done much better
