Shot taken last weekend in the forest on my way back from an attempt to walk up the Galatzó mountain that was frustrated by the fog. I spotted this branch and thought it had some interesting texture and colors.
Gently set the camera down between the tracks; check the exposure; set focus on infinity; 2 second delay - push button. Oh, and don't forget to look around carefully to make sure there are no trains coming!!

The blades of grasses in this photograph suggest random, tonal arrangements of musical notes, yet the contrast in textures suggest there's more to these plants, and nature, than meets the eye.
