It's been a long, hot, dry summer with forest fires all over the province. On the positive side though, one can always step away from the gloom and doom and enjoy the beauty of a garden. This too is nature at work.
Put an island in the middle of the tropical bit of an ocean (here Reunion Island in the middle of Indian Ocean).
Make it receive tons of sunlight and tons of rain.
Fill it with a hot and moist atmosphere before you also fill it with mountains with sides just less vertical than walls.
There you go. You have it.
Impenetrable.
Also, it may look like a giant mess but it has to be another perfect natural organisation where, if you remove one element, the entire assemble may collapse.
Pretty much like me after trekking there for over a week.
Emergence 1
Over time I have created numerous textures and have noticed that after some contemplation I could begin to see objects, figures, landscapes, creatures, etc. With some enhancement I hope to help these characters emerge. See first comment.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne.Guilfoyle’s Volcano was built in 1876 and was used to store water for Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. After lying idle for 60 years, it is now restored as part of a significant landscape development project called Working Wetlands. .
This spectacular and historic water reservoir has commanding views of the city, and its striking landscape design showcases low-water use plants.

cutting metal for backing.
work in progress.... been a while since i had chance to get into studio loft.... will hammer and glue later, and tone down the pinky areas....and texture the metal area once glued and nailed down. may tone it some too....
