Taken with my new Ricoh GRD III. I went out at lunchtime today and had a walk around sheffield. I was looking to test the performance of this amazing little camera.

I was organising one of my self portraits, testing the lighting, compo, all of my other 'self-portrait-traditional-set-up-stuff' and this was the first shot.
Just came across it on my card, thought I had time to kill so I retouched it.
5 hours total.

Muslims performing Eidul-Adha prayer which is the first religious ritual for Eid al-Adha.
In Islam, sacrifices have to be made by Muslims as their obligation to strengthen their relationship with Allah. There are number of ways sacrifices could be done, one of them is celebrating Eidul-Adha annually. This event was depicted from the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Ismail, where Allah had came out with an order to test Prophet Ibrahim’s faith by slaughtering his son. As Prophet Ibrahim laid his knife to Prophet Ismail’s neck, Allah replaced Prophet Ismail with a bunch of sheep signaling that Prophet Ibrahim had successfully passed the test. Therefore, Muslims have been slaughtering sheep, cows and goats during Eidul-Adha as a symbol of sacrifice and to get Allah’s blessing in their life.
A part of a pier at Solvik BÃ¥thavn outside of Oslo, this is one of the less crappy shots I got today. I was doing a test run of twilight photography where I started off by walking a trail, trying out various framings and angles before retracing my steps with a clearer purpose (and hence less fumbling to find a good view) than last time.
The irony is of course that my previous round to this place resulted in better photos than today's round. The clouds seemed very promising only 20 minutes before sunset, but moved south quickly thus creating a full overcast where the sun set. Oh well...
