I'm not thrilled with the outcome of this one either but I guess Rome wasn't built in a day right? The shadows on the right of the image are bothersome.

I looked in the manual and found that there are some slight adjustments you can do in the color sketch setting.
Top is an HDR image, where I've adjusted the settings. The next is the 'plain' HDR without any settings changed. The last is the middle, or 'correct' exposure. Which one do you like most?
(As for nuts and bolts: The HDR is from three images, exposed one stop apart each. 400 ISO)

Today I'm finishing up a project long overdue. I fashioned a 2-stop neutral density filter for my Polaroid SX-70 so it can use 600 film. The results are above. The photo on the left is with the filter and the dial all the way towards "darken." The one on the right is the filter alone. I figure in between the two extremes will probably be best.
I'm so happy to be back to using this great camera. Woo SX-70!
