Under the new cathedral in Viborg the crypt from the 11th century was still intact - and open for visitors. I'm not sure, though, if my son was actually allowed to test the size of this medieval sarcophagus...
Pushing the new lens with this photo met all expectations and beyond. Dove was in shade, taken at 1/20 at 600mm handheld pushed the limits of the stabilization and it performed perfectly. Photos taken with the D7K were also very sharp.

1. Line-of-sight (LOS) pipes represent brass collimators which define radiation beams in the LOS pipes before they reach the detectors.
2. Line-of-sight pipes represent reaction history lines of sight. The detectors in these pipes, represented by BLACK blocks, are alpha detectors which measure the reaction multiplication rate in the fissioning/fusioning systems
3. Line-of-Sight pipes represent THREX (THReshold x-ray EXperiments) package lines of sight. The THREX package holds a set of solid-state detectors which record proton recoils from a thin foil that is exposed to a neutron beam and are used to derive temperatures.
4. Two Line-of-sight pipes run vertically the length of the rack are PINEX (Pinhole Imaging Neutron Experiment) pipes. The RED section of each pipe represents the pinhole assembly. The pinhole focuses a beam of x-rays, gamma rays, or neutrons onto the fluoroscope. The fluoroscope is located in the television box represented by the large Gray box on top of the rack. The fluoroscopes provide an image of the exploding device. The images are transmitted uphold by television cameras. "You can see an example of a PINEX camera in the Discovery and Innovation gallery.
5. Line-of-sight pipes represent NUEX (Neutron Experiment) pipes which derive the device yield from time-resolved measurements of neutron output.
6. Pipes represent Line-of-Sight for SMAT detectors which are high-bandwidth-laser-modulated and laser-transmitted reaction history experiments.
7. Short Line-of-Sight that runs up the left-hand side of the rack is a TOMEX (TOMographic Reconstruction Experiment). TOMEX looks at various image planes of the exploding device that is recorded onto a streak camera. Cylindrical lenses. condense the image sections into a fiber optic cable, transmitting the image uphole to a recording trailer. Later, the image can be reconstructed mathematically
Along with experiments and Line-of-sight pipes, the rack holds other equipment to allow various experiments to function properly and transmit data to the surface. The bright ORANGE gas bottles are CO, gas which flows into the TV box, keeping the box a positive pressure relative to the outside preventing dust and other contaminants from entering the box.
The OPAQUE blocks in the upper rack represent various power distribution and transmitter boxes for the experiments.
