Just got my test roll back from my new Pentax 645N and they're all beautiful. Another medium format keeper.

Voici un Test pour comparer différentes images de type Vandyke.
( La numérisation de ces quatre bandes de papiers est assez fidèle à la réalité ).
Chambre Photographique Gilles-Faller 13X18.
Objectif Voigtländer Héliar 24cm + Filtre orange.
Négatif Bergger 400 en 13x18.
Pour ce test, utilisation de deux révélateurs différents. L'Ilfotec HC avec un temps de 11' de développement et le Tanol (révélateur colorant) avec un temps de 15' de développement.
Obtention de 2 négatifs bien développés.
Impression Vandyke + virage au chlorure d'Or thiourée.
Papier Bergger cot 320 + 2 couches de ma solution Vandyke.
AF ===== > Exposition UV avec mon filtre maison ( j'appelle cela un "Filtre Négatif" ). Il s'agit simplement d'un négatif vierge développé dans du Tanol pour obtenir un filtre coloré que j'intercale entre mon négatif et les lampes UV de mon insoleuse.
SF ====== > Exposition UV sans mon " Filtre Négatif ".
Résultats de gauche à droite :
Bande 1 : Ilfotec HC avec AF de 7' et SF de 1' : cela me semble tout à fait correct avec un beau rendu. Je pense que mon image finale sera avec AF à 8' pour qu'elle soit un peu plus sombre. Pour que l'image finale dégage plus de force...
Bande 2 : Ilfotec HC avec AF de 9' et SF de 1' : belle image aussi. Peut-être un peu trop sombre avec une perte des détails au niveau du tronc de l'arbre...
Bande 3 : Ilfotec HC avec AF de 12' et SF de 2' : image beaucoup trop sombre et réellement trop noire dans la réalité.
Bande 4 : Tanol avec une exposition directement sous UV de 16' : image assez belle avec une grande netteté, mais qui me paraît beaucoup trop contrastée et surtout non conforme à la réalité. L'image est trop claire et si j'augmente le temps d'exposition, je pense perdre du détail dans le tronc de l'arbre...
Au total : mon filtre maison (Filtre Négatif) me paraît très intéressant pour me fournir une image proche de ma réalité visuelle… Après c'est aussi une affaire de goût. A vous de juger...

On a lovely day in the Surrey Hills, GBRf class 73/9 no.73962 'Dick Mabbutt' leads 1Q69 12:19 South Croydon to Derby RTC Network Rail track recording train passed Hackhurst Farm near Abinger Hammer on 25th January 2025. Class 73/9 no.73963 'Janice' can be seen on the rear. The train had originated at Dollands Moor, where it had been used on it's regularly scheduled overnight testing of HS1.

Testing a 1997 Dated Kodak High Speed Infra Red film found in my feezer with an ASAHI PENTAX LX that I have not used for a long time as it suffers the 'Sticky Mirror Syndrome' It free up after a bit of use, I used SMC Pentax-A 24mm f2.8 and SMC Pentax-M 50mm f1.7 lenses with a 25A RED Filter and processed in home-made FX-15 1+1 for 14 mins @ 20oC All in CHELMSFORD, Essex, Central Park .
Test from Lego Movie 2 CMF serie : Swamp Creature torso as ork berserker (legs from Vest friend Rex minifig), Sherry Scratchen-post as barbarian woman, the axe comes from Tin Man (Xiphos sword from Brickwarriors)
My daughter getting instructions for her covid 19 test. With the cases ramping up and her having a few symptoms we decided to get her tested. It has been a full year since this all started. This is her first test.
Even if I've had a bit of experience with TLRs for some weird reason this waist level VF isn't as easy to focus. :(

Dragged a car battery and an inverter out onto the back field to test out a 10m length of mains-powered ropelights. A bit daft really. I'm sure the lights themselves would manage with 12V is there was enough current getting through. 2A per metre apparently. I need to get it attached to a smaller battery if it's going to be mobile.
The 10m is doubledup twice here, so it's 4strands, each 2m in length, with the excess hidden, as swinging 10m straight out proved to keep hitting bushes, and was a bit iffy. Probably a 2-person job really. But it's got potential as a largescale LP tool as it's bright. This is a 2.5s exposure, so they're moving quite quickly, at a greater distance, moved slower, they should still show up OK.
Testing the Fuji 50-140mm f/2.8. Someone commented that this lens has a case of confused identity bec. it thinks it is a prime lens. I believe that person may very well be right. :P I am gonna try this lens in a sports setting soon to see how it fares.

First test roll in my new mystery camera the German made Hexi. I used iso 160 and decided to do multiple exposures (for some reason..) I'm quite surprised at how sharp and contrasty the images are...
A further loaded test run around the Carnforth circuit for Bulleid 'Merchant Navy' Class no. 35018 'British India Line' took place on the 7th March 2018. Here the train passes Armistead on the Little North Western line, still showing signs of a continuing problem. Nevertheless, on this occasion, the whole circuit was completed.
