West Midlands Railway Class 323 EMU 323240 arrives at Walsall station terminating with service 2A23 the 11.50 Wolverhampton to Walsall

360107 is seen having terminated at Ipswich. This unit carries unbranded First Great Eastern blue livery, but with Abellio logo's.

I was surprised to see that a movie from so long ago like Terminator 2 still has a feature in Universal Studio's in Osaka, Japan. I was glad that I finally got to see this attraction as it features footage with Arnie that was filmed especially for the ride. Anyone who digs Terminator 2 like I did should definetly line up for this one.

The traincrew sort a minor problem while coupling up 31465 at the Devon outpost of Eggesford, Monday 28th September 1987.

After a trip to Barnstaple on the booked loco hauled train (04:05 Exeter St Davids - Barnstaple), with 33065, and returning on it with the 05:45 ex Barnstaple, 31465 was found waiting to head back to 'Barny' at Eggesford with a DMU substitute turn. However after standing for some time, the guard reported that a freight service had failed ahead, and therefore, the train would terminate here, then forming the 07:40 Eggesford - Paignton.

If you're going to witness the day-night terminator, it should look like this; the fading light of day with northern lights and night advancing from the east, looking straight north on a Range Road!

Please feel free to comment and give me some constructive feedback. I would love to learn from all your knowledge and find out how I can improve my photographs. Thank you!

Visited the London Film Museum for the Ray Harryhausen exhibit, which could not be photographed. But most everything else could, including this Terminator face.

In case you wondering, the blotchy green is from the liquid green stuff that I use in the final stages of construction.

The Easter Parade terminated outside my apartment block but as my windows face away from Bolton Street I was afraid that I might not be able to get any usable photographs of the parade but things did work out too bad even though members of the public did frequently block my view of the event.

Since Ireland joined the United Nations in 1955, the Army has been deployed on many peacekeeping missions. The first of these took place in 1958, when a small number of observers were sent to Lebanon. A total of 86 Irish soldiers have died in the service of the United Nations since 1960

As of 1 December 2015, 493 Defence Force personnel are serving in 12 different missions throughout the world including Lebanon (UNIFIL), Syria (UNDOF), Middle East (UNTSO), Kosovo (KFOR), German-led Battle Group 2016 and other observer and staff appointments to UN, EU, OSCE and PfP posts. The largest deployments include:

Lebanon (UNIFIL) 51 Infantry Group, Syria (UNDOF) 50 Infantry Group.

The Army has historically purchased and used weapons and equipment from other western countries, mainly from European nations. Ireland has a very limited arms industry and rarely produces its own armaments.

From its establishment the Army used the British-made Lee–Enfield .303 rifle, which would be the mainstay for many decades. In the 1960s some modernisation came with the introduction of the Belgian-made FN FAL 7.62 mm assault rifle. Since 1989 the service rifle for the Army is the Austrian-made Steyr AUG 5.56 mm assault rifle (used by all branches of the Defence Forces).

Other weapons in use by the Army include the USP 9mm pistol, FN MAG machine gun, M2 Browning machine gun, Accuracy International Arctic Warfare sniper rifles, AT4 SRAAW, FGM-148 Javelin Anti-tank guided missile, L118 105mm Howitzer, RBS 70 Surface to Air Missile system.

The Army has purchased 80 Swiss made Mowag Piranha Armoured personnel carriers which have become the Army's primary vehicle in the Mechanised infantry role. These are equipped with 12.7 mm HMGs, or the Oto Melara 30 mm Autocannon. The army also has 27 RG Outrider light tactical armoured vehicles. The Army has no tanks, but does have a variant of the FV101 Scorpion light armoured reconnaissance vehicle, with a 76.2 mm main gun.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.

On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.

These days I take a far more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, a Nikon D850 FX Pro body as my trusted companion, I travel light with less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 29.678+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Thirty two metres at 11:16am on Tuesday April 18th 2017,off Via Labicana and Via Celio Vibena within the Colosseo, (Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre and Colosseum), Rome, Italy. It is situated in Regio IV Templum pacis (Temple of peace).

Built of concrete and sand, the largest amphitheatre ever built with construction commencing in AD 72 under Emperor Vespasian and completion in AD 80 under his successor Titus. The Colisseum could hold up to 80,000 spectators and was home to gladiatorial contests, slave executions, public spectacles and later, animal hunts and re-enactments of battles and drames using lifts and mechanisms to hoist scenery and animals onto the stage.

The Colisseum ceased to be used for entertainment in the early medieval era and went on toi be used for housing, a quarry, workshops, a fortress and a Christian shrine. A massive earthquake in 1349 destroyed the outer southern wall, followed by neglect, and theft of metalwork and stones over the years. There have been many calls to demolish the Colisseum, and even plans to turn the structure into a hotel, but nowadays the building is protected and revered as one of the most iconic landmarks in Rome with a fascinating history, and a link to a worldwide call for the banishment of capital punishment.

An adult entry fee in April 2017 is twelve Euros, which allows a two day pass into the Colosseum and nearby Palatine Hill.

Did you see in tonights episode, the future skynet plays with Lego Bionicles?

Chaos Terminator squad for my World Eaters army. I've made a full set of magnetized combi weapons, including four Combi-Meltas, Plasmas and Flamers as well as the Reaper Autocannon. The pictures shows only the ones i'm currently using. The squad is armed with 3 Combi-Plasmaguns, one Combi-Meltagun, Heavy Flamer, Chainfist, two Power Axes and two Power Mauls. I forgot to add the icon of Khorne... but it's there, waiting to be glued on ;)

First member of the Terminator squad in the new colour scheme. Rather then go all grey I have added more white to the armour to show the fact that he is part of the 1st Company. Also worked in the NMM Gold as usual. Hope you like it! And as always thank you for looking and hope you like the mini :)
