Young talented students from prestigious universities and top business schools met at the ESCP Europe's London Campus on 22nd & 23rd February to participate in the 2019 School’s Energy Trading Challenge.
Jointly organised by our MSc in Energy Management (MEM) students, in collaboration with Smart Global, ESCP Europe, and its Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM), this year’s challenge sponsored by Glencore - one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, with 90 offices in over 50 countries- provided an excellent platform for students to learn key insights on trading oil and gas products.
London Campus Dean Prof. Dr Simon Mercado, Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos, Executive Director of the RCEM and Academic Director of ESCP Europe's Energy Management Programmes, and Luke Horswell, Director of Smart Global delivered the welcomed 205 attendees representing 23 universities at this truly international competition.

This is my friend who is also a very talented dancer. A few months back she asked if I would take some shots for her. I agreed but put if off for too long, its one thing reading "lighting 101" and understanding how to balance ambient with fill blah blah blah! But its totally another to do it for the first time with someone who has expectations standing waiting while you goof around with flashes and exposures.
I finally decided it was time to take the plunge and wenting scouting for locations, read as many articles as I could find on posing for portraits etc etc and generally prayed that I wouldn't come across as a complete novice, which is in fact exactly what I am. Things went pretty smoothly last night and I need not have worried, she was so keen to do the shoot one shot transitioned naturally into the next and we had a great time doing it.
I'm pleased with the results but would welcome any and all feedback as to how I could improve.

The young, talented Starlin Castro batting for the Cubs during their game with the Kansas City Royals on June 26. He still has a lot to learn, but he's got great potential.

The only song he played over and over was the theme song from Deer Hunter (1978). I had to go back to show him my appreciation by slipping him my only change in my pocket. A Selma (20kr bill). He stopped playing and took it up and sounded really surprised. I hurried off to get me some falafel with rice at the nearest kebaberia. (I realize I must sound very philanthropy-y doing this, maybe I felt like it too.)
It's not typical of me to support those that already are doing well in life. I should rather have given the bill to someone else lower down in life...but he played the song so flawless I had to reward him somehow.

The lovely and talented CCBL intern, Ashley Crosby, strolls on the field at Fenway Park in an effort to find professional employment in the sports and entertainment industry at the 2009 Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game on July 23, 2009. My opinion, the heir apparent to Heidi Whatney.
Our talented Prideens completely rocked the stage on the second day of the Mother's Pride annual fest at Sir Fort Auditorium. Blessed with the presence of thousands of parents, grandparents and distinguished dignitaries, the day offered them a perfect platform to unleash their talent and present it in front of a huge audience.

He volunteered to help me on my 52 portrait project for 2008 (one portrait a week). I had a great time taking the photos.

Akane from Japan, another talented graphic designer, her works are amazing and she is a good person, but always moving so fast in-front of cameras, so hard to get a still portrait of her.
