The authorities in São Tomé and Príncipe took the Cabo Verde water experts to our IWRM Demonstration Project site, located in Neves, where an automatic monitoring system was built.
Among other things the system is keeping a close eye on the water level of the River Provaz. In the past, the adjacent town of Neves was hit several times by devastating flash floods.
