I have a pile system in my office. If I don't need anything in the pile for at least a year, I throw the entire pile out. Unfortunately, I'd need a back hoe to de-pile at this point.

I have been trying to use the zone system to determine exposures with a spot meter recently. Although the principles are quite simple I'm still having a few problems entirely getting my head around it. Sometimes I randomly add the extra n stops of exposure instead of subtracting, or vice versa.
This image was meant to be colour but I mistakenly had T-max in my camera. What with the wrong exposure and the wrong film how bad could it get? Added in the green back in using gimp.

FAA technician Jake Fabiszak monitors a variety of systems that support air traffic control service at Chicago En Route Center in Aurora, IL.
These four grease points will serve via 3/16" supply pipes, various moving components directly under the cab. Although there is no engine under the cab, there's still a lot going on there and access for greasing is nigh on impossible. When I got the lorry, all this system had been chopped off and grease nipples had been fitted to the relative components. This probably seemed like a good idea at the time but, they never got greased and, were worn out and had to be repaired. More details and photos to come.

Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. It is situated on the River Seine, in the north of the country, at the heart of the ÃŽle-de-France region. Within its administrative limits (the 20 arrondissements), the city had 2,234,105 inhabitants in 2009 while its metropolitan area is one of the largest population centres in Europe with more than 12 million inhabitants.
An important settlement for more than two millennia, by the late 12th century Paris had become a walled cathedral city that was one of Europe's foremost centres of learning and the arts and the largest city in the Western world until the turn of the 18th century. Paris was the focal point for many important political events throughout its history, including the French Revolution. Today it is one of the world's leading business and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, science, fashion and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major cities. The city has one of the largest GDPs in the world, €607 billion (US$845 billion) as of 2011, and as a result of its high concentration of national and international political, cultural and scientific institutions is one of the world's leading tourist destinations. The Paris Region hosts the world headquarters of 30 of theFortune Global 500 companies in several business districts, notably La Défense, the largest dedicated business district in Europe.
Centuries of cultural and political development have brought Paris a variety of museums, theatres, monuments and architectural styles. Many of its masterpieces such as the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe are iconic buildings, especially its internationally recognized symbol, the Eiffel Tower. Paris is home to the association football club Paris Saint-Germain FC and the rugby union club Stade Français. The 80,000-seat Stade de France, built for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, is located in Saint-Denis. Paris hosts the annual French Open Grand Slam tennis tournament on the red clay of Roland Garros. Paris played host to the 1900 and 1924 Summer Olympics, the 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cup, and the 2007 Rugby World Cup. The city is a major rail, highway, and air-transport hub, served by the two international airports Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly. Opened in 1900, the city's subway system, the Paris Métro, serves 9 million passengers daily. Paris is the hub of the national road network, and is surrounded by three orbital roads: the Périphérique, the A86 motorway, and theFrancilienne motorway in the outer suburbs.

Seoul Railway System is a railway map of Seoul metropolitan area whose overall image is inspired by Tae-Geuk mark of the Korean national flag. Han River, flowing across the city from east to west, has been the driving force behind the development of the capital city and is the symbol of the long history of the Korean Peninsula.
This map also shows the territory of Han Yang, the old capital of the Jo-Seon Dynasty and Five Grand Palaces. This is the old Seoul marked by the Four Gates, and the growth of the city becomes clear when compared to the modern metropolitan area.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Sichuan, China 25 April 2009. Amazingly, the system was originally constructed in 265 BC by Li Bing, Governor of the Shu for the State of Qin. It was built on the River Minjiang, the longest tributary of the Yangtse, which was very prone to flooding at this point. Unfortunately, a very severe earthquake in 1933 destroyed much of the system but it was reconstructed to the same layout. Another earthquake in 2008 damaged it but it was repaired. Pictured is the Anlan Suspension Bridge made from rope and wooden planks. It links the upper end of an artificial island/dyke (the Yuzui or Fish Mouth Dyke) in the centre of the river with each shore. The dyke divides the river into the inner (deep and narrow - pictured) and outer (wide and shallow) channels, the former being for irrigation purposes. Seen beyond the Anlan Bridge is a modern weir on the inner channel.
Next time you're sitting behind a Land Rover at the lights, think of the intelligent stop/start system that's cutting back on emissions.

The stack on the right consists of four 500 watt amplifiers each responsible for powering a single driver in the top most cluster of the right speaker and the bottom shelf is an electronic crossover. The cluster consists of a super tweeter, tweeter, midrange and mid bass.
Connection went something like this:
CD Player -> Preamp -> Crossover -> Amps -> Speaker
This was the best system of the show. Not by a long shot, but it was the best.
The TV and projector can display the same input or independent inputs for dual Xbox gaming goodness.

The flux system of the University of British Columbia during the 2016 summer campaign at Illisarvik. The eddy covariance system consisted of a CSAT-3 ultrasonic anemometer-thermometer, a Li-7500 open path infrared gas analyzer, and a Li-7700 open path methane analyzer. It was installed to quantify greenhouse gas exchange over a drained permafrost lake basin to quantify methane exchange.

This is a high throughput membrane screening system. It tests 16 membranes simultaneously, which means we can screen materials about ten times as fast as by conventional means. It was designed and built (and patented) at NETL to look at mixed matrix membranes. Those are polymeric membranes that incorporate metal-organic frameworks into their structure to improve performance. The application is post-combustion CO2 capture.
