Yes, I cheat and cut LEGO pieces sometimes.
In this instance, I cut two blue push rails and two flex tracks in order to make a module to transition from one type of track to the other.
The module is 16 studs long, which means I can now have a track configuration featuring both types of tracks without having to worry about how to tie up the loop.

The Yamanobe no Michi is perhaps Japan's oldest road. Records of it appear in the 8th century Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan) and in the Man'yōshū collection of Nara period poetry compiled sometime after 759 AD. The road runs through Nara, offering a view of gorgeous landscapes dotted with mountains, farms, old temples, shrines and examples of old Edo period architecture. I hiked 12 of its 16 km and couldn't think of a better way to spend a day.

As part of a complete renovation and extension of a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house we installed a new heating system, taking out the existing one pipe system and starting from scratch. The existing open vented cylinder was removed and a new unvented system installed the opposite end of the property, the clients were still living in the house at the time of works so we had to liase with them and other trades to switch the systems over causing as little inconvenience as possible for the home owners and making sure they still had running water every night!
The heating was zoned with upstairs/downstairs radiator circuits, a towel rail circuit, wet underfloor heating in the family, kitchen and utility room and a looping of pipe in the airing cupboard for drying clothes.
A closed suction system is required for every one of those patients who are ventilated mechanically as these patients are typically fitted with a tracheostomy or an endotracheal tube. This is a suction strategy that includes a catheter that is multipurpose.

The Beautiful Earth program combined a live multi-media show of Earth systems viewed from Space, discussions with scientists, and hands-on workshops. The April 19th event emphasized Earth’s Water in all of its forms: Liquid, Solid, and Vapor, from the Western scientific, Indigenous, Artistic, and Multi-cultural points of view. Director and Musician, Kenji Williams, performed the BELLA GAIA Live multi-media show, along with interactive sessions on the Science on a Sphere with NASA Earth Scientist, Thorsten Markus, and Native American Science Educator, Jim Rock.

The workhorse of the WIPP transportation system, the TRUPACT-II, was the first package used to ship non-remotely handled, or contact-handled, TRU waste to WIPP in 1999. The TRUPACT-II is constructed with inner and outer containment vessels. It measures 2.4m (8ft) in diameter by 3m (10ft) high and holds up to fourteen 55-gallon drums, six 100-gallon drums, two standard waste boxes, or one 10-drum over-pack. The TRUPACT-II’s closure configuration, used for both the inner and outer containment vessels, was designed to facilitate the large number of shipments that would be made to WIPP, along with minimizing package weight. The overall design also maximizes payload weight capacity. Up to three TRUPACT-IIs are shipped at a time on a single trailer. Shipments are kept within highway legal weight limits of 35.7t (80,000 lbs).
The smaller HalfPACTs, certified in 2000, are more efficient when transporting more densely configured contact-handled TRU waste. A HalfPACT measures 2.4m (8ft) in diameter by 2.3m (7.5ft) high and holds up to seven 55-gallon drums, four 85-gallon drums, three 100-gallon drums, or one standard waste box. For weight management purposes, a typical shipping configuration consists of two TRUPACT-IIs and one HalfPACT.

I removed a double-page spread of the Mississippi River system from a vintage copy of the Encyclopedia world Atlas and had it framed back in mid-2005. This is one of my favorite maps as it shows many of the places we've lived. It's hard to get a good photograph of it due to the glass.

I needing to clean up the pieces that were edging the center. I had originally cut them on the bandsaw and then placed them closer than the 1/8 standard spacing. Had I not had the Festool Saw and Track, I would had to have taken extra time and care to insure each piece was cut perfectly before gluing down. I truly love my Festool Saw. I was able to get the perfect straight spacing and everying in one smooth cut!
