Providence & Worcester NH-1 spots the empties at Red Technologies in Portland, CT while the track mobile spots the load.
The switch off to the right leads to a previous customer, Mid-State Recovery. Mid-State began shipping construction debris in 2002 and would ship upwards of 30 plus cars a week in its heyday. This eventually led to the reactivation of the line up to Hartford through Wethersfield to interchange with CSO from 2005-2008. The collapse of the Mid-State recovery building in 2011 saw the end of regular service to Portland until Red Technologies began shipping in 2015. I was lucky enough to see the evolution of service in Portland from my first days of watching trains until now.

Just updating the photos of my collection. Some of them simply had a change of clothes/wigs/eyes, but others have had their bodies switched around, or got entirely new bodies/heads.

It's a tight fit for all the electronics under a Strat scratchplate, and the switches are squeezed together. Next job is fitting the pickups and switches, and wiring up.

but apparently it never happened.

Almost anyway, I was shooting in the harbor of Halmstad and found this switch.

Control switch duplicates the shutter button. "Off" is not pushed, "Half" is the shutter button half pressed on the camera. "Full" is the shutter pressed fully to trigger.

(God willing and the river don't rise, the most boring photograph I will ever have taken).
This is the light switch panel on the landing of the floor where I've been living. Each switch controls one of four lights nearby. Clockwise from the left these are: 1.hallway, 2.landing, 3.tracklighting, 4.stairway. Guess which switches correspond to which lights?
4.stairway, 2.landing, 1.hallway, 3.tracklighting
You can't even deduce the order by comparing which switches are up with which lights are on because some of the lights are controlled by more than one switch in the house. When I took this photo, the stairway light was off even though the switch is up. Were I to flick the switch at the bottom of the stairs, then 'up' would become 'on' again.
I've been living in this house for about 8 months and STILL can't instinctively turn on the right switch when I come home.
