I missed the Switch photo contest deadline by less than 30 minutes because I didn’t realise Korean time is ahead of ours oTL I thought I had enough time to finish up a faceup commission but I was wrong :c

This is the original photograph by Ricardo Napoli and the simple manipulation I used on the computer to make it paler. The pale image eliminated the details and showed only the lines and creases that I wanted to used in the quilt design. It was very simple once I thought of this process step.

I liked this old switch. See below for the dated list of patents that was stamped into the iron.
I have seen switches of this type still in use in some places, although there's a more modern type of manual switch that seems to be more common.
It is OneLens October, a whole month with the beautiful 85L
Old fashioned switch, it purely decorative since the light is always on..

The power switch for the pump in our tub room was sparking
occasionally. I ripped off the old outlet today and put on a new
weather proof toggle. Once inside the wall I realized that someone
had left the ground wire floating, that is fixed now.
