The Switch Mobility e1 bus on display on November 1st 2022 at the 2022 Euro Bus Expo held at the National Exhibition Centre. The bus was left hand drive with three doors.
After completing a special passenger excursion to Cascade Canyon, Denver & Rio Grande Western Consolidation #340 takes a turn acting as the Durango Yard Switcher, helping to assemble the consist for a wedding charter that would take place the following day. In this early evening shot, the little, 1881-vintage C-19 is seen picking up a couple of coaches that will be part of the special train. Although a diesel switcher is available, the steam locomotives here are often pressed into service as yard switchers after they return from their daily excursions, most of the time just to reposition existing consists so they are ready for service the following day.
This image was captured in June of 2026, and features Denver & Rio Grande Western C-19 #340, which was visiting from Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. At the time of this photo, the locomotive had just emerged from a 2-year long contract overhaul in the shops of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Prior to shipping her back to her California home, her owners consented to allow her to participate in a small number of passenger trips and photo shoots, so that narrow-gauge fans from around the country could see and photograph this engine in the mountains of Colorado.
Fully Charged Live 2021 (aka Fully Charged Outside) was the latest event to be held at the Farnborough International site in Farnborough, Hants. The three-day event hosted a huge selection of electric vehicles including two PSV products. There was also an internal Park & Ride bus service operating using 8 buses over the course of the event with the addition of an occasional trip to Farnborough (Main) railway station.
I visited on the overcast Saturday and returned on the sunny Sunday. For the record, buses seen were:

With the lead unit, GP9 109 tucked away on a house track, SD40-2 262 pulls the Friday Helena Switch into the siding at Townsend. The 262 will be dropped off here for work train duty, and the 109 will run solo back with Helena with the train.
Norfolk Southern H02 is switching Mennen Products in Morris Plains, NJ. This customer has subsequently closed and the factory has been demolished,
As we ended our walk along the tracks, we came to a railway junction, seemingly guiding us to choose either the fog or the sun.

These switching rail levers were used switch the locos onto the turntable line. Michelago, New South Wales, Australia.
CNW RS-3 1554 has finished its work for the day and it is returning from the Winona Levee to the CNW Yard in Winona, MN. It is about to pass under the CNW mainline bridge. Mike E. Crowe ventured up onto the steel bridge that crosses the switching lead to take the photo. By this time, the CNW trackage up the embankment and across the Mississippi River was largely out of use. Taken Feb 2, 1977.
It is hard to believe only a dozen deckers in Leeds retain the first olympia livery in January 2023. The transformation of the fleet into the smart green livery has happened at an impressive pace driven through fleet investment and transfers out. The majority of those left in the old colours mix in on Bramleys routes, mainly the 19 & 56. One of the last 37650 is shown here with the "wide" advert which seemed popular at one time.
Say hi to Kaji's older brother :) Can you guys make recommendations as to what his character should be like? Obviously he needs to be an assassin as well ;D

A sunny afternoon in the quaint border town of Fort Erie, Ontario finds CN 2100 (née CNW 8553) sitting on the once busy shop track. Today, Ft. Erie is all but a shadow of it's former self, and the vintage switch lock is one of the few reminders from the once bustling yard.
