Since Emmett got a new body it freed up his cobbled together spray painted body for my new Jasper and it’s nice having a Jasper who can wear his default clothing lol.
North Carolina Virginia GP38-3 #3837 a former B & O GP40swithing the Georgia Pacific facility in Conway, NC. Fascinating find today.
I found this derelict building while visiting Derby's Format 15 photography festival (UK); it was being used as an exhibition space. Lots of personal photo opportunities & I'll probably go back towards the end of the festival...
Carolina Coastal 114 switches the CSX interchange west of Wilson. After delivering a tank car out of site, they will head further west to service the stone quarry on line. Alwys nice to see the Heritage GP15's coupled to an older GP9r.
Fully Charged Live 2021 (aka Fully Charged Outside) was the latest event to be held at the Farnborough International site in Farnborough, Hants. The three-day event hosted a huge selection of electric vehicles including two PSV products. There was also an internal Park & Ride bus service operating using 8 buses over the course of the event with the addition of an occasional trip to Farnborough (Main) railway station.
I visited on the overcast Saturday and returned on the sunny Sunday. For the record, buses seen were:

The electric switcher was made live through an HO-scale pantograph by Marklin who provided the overhead catenary wires held inplace with thin slices of rubber hose. The motor mechanism was modified with a switch to allow the locomotive to operate by either the overhead or track current. The full article describing this layout is found in RailBricks Issue #4 at www.railbricks.com .
Buzzi Cement in Ogelsby, IL gets full and receives empty cement cars to the Iowa Interstate railroad twice a week or so. They use the old Illinois Central Gruber line to head north to La Salle to interchange with them. All finished delivering empties, IAIS 712 leading IAIS 711 head back down the 7% grade to their ex-Rock Island line. To the right is their competition, Illinois Cement, which has little chance of getting rail service, as they are entirely serviced by trucks.
Three California Northern GP15-1s switch the Budweiser plant at Subeet (west of Fairfield/Suisun City), California, on March 7, 1994. These classy green and creme Geeps in fresh paint are former Chicago and North Western locomotives.
One of the two main switches inside the last major 4160V substation in Fargo. I just liked the intricateness of the switch and accompanying hardware.
General Electric 45-ton side rod switcher refurbished by the Wisconsin Great Northern for the Lake Superior & Mississippi tourist railroad of Duluth, Minn. It will be used on the LS&M in 2020.
Taken on October 25,2019, at the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad of Trego, Wisc. The railroad offers both freight and passenger service over the former Chicago & North Western line between Spooner and Hayward.
