I made those for my swap partner from the "Books and more swap" @ Ravelry. The fabric basket is the actual gift. I just made a photo to show how you can use it :)
When I came home from work yesterday evening my neighbor brought me a swap parcel full of treasures from Anja @ Matilda's Design. Wow I was speechless when I opened all the pretty Vintage supplies, like woven borders, an old wooden spool with antique silver ribbon, gorgeous glass drops and crystals from a vintage chandelier, pretty shiny buttons, a bag full of pieces of braid, Vintage tree candle holders, sweet scenting honey candles, sheet music tags, Millinery flowers, a napkin with a beautiful Vintage Winter scene and last but not least a wonderful rose fabric covered inspiration board (see next photos), so much beauty! Dear Anja you spoiled me, it was like Christmas and I love every single piece, thank you so so much for your kindness and generosity!!!! xox Carola

my January Swap person on the Enchanted Forum was Noxy and she got my gifts today (yay!) so i am sharing the photos i took of them before i sent them. :)
in the initial Secret Santa thread where this was organized everyone shared a little about their favourite colours and so on to give each person an idea what to make for their persons, and Noxy shared a story of how she wanted a Pony, and a friend made her an "insta-Pony" box. i simply had to make her an insta-ED box after reading that, i used a matchbox and wrapped and decorated it with the tiny ED i once drew.
the instructions on the box are basically what i used to "materialize" my own ED, only i didn't have a box and it wasn't "instant". ;)
here's a copy of the tiny ED that goes in the box.
Cake Swap:
Pink & white butterfly cupcake cases, butterfly cutter and snowflake pearl dust.
A selection of cupcakes made, did cheat a little by adding an embossed flower, but think it looks really pretty.
pure Freude hier, ich durfte Judiths Kissen in die Arme schließen. Judith hat mich auch mit total tollem Geschenkpapier und so schönen Stöffchen bedacht, das ist wie Weihnachten, Geburtstag und Ostern zusammen. Linnea hatte viel Spaß beim Auspacken und Stöffchensichten. :) Danke, liebe Judith! Danke, danke, danke.

this is covered with a greeting card I recieved, then coated with soft glitter top coat.
If I run out of time for SWAP 2014, I may exercise the option to include one already sewn garment and one purchased garment. Possibilities:
1. Hanna for La Journee supplex pinstripe skirt, off-black or very dark navy color. Purchased at a thrift store.
2. Previously sewn tucked tablecloth skirt.
3. Previously sewn striped Alabama Chanin fitted top, very lightweight cotton blend.
4. Previously sewn Alabama Chanin fitted top with circle spiral applique, medium-to-heavy weight cotton jersey, dyed from light heather grey to a darker grey.
Any one of these garments will play quite nicely with my SWAP.

The Smoke Out is about choppers. It is about builders, from professional builders to those bloody-knuckled guys (and ladies) burning the midnight oil in an unheated shed to build a chopper they can call their own.
Chops of all makes are featured, American, British, Japanese, everything. The event is about riders, cross-town to cross-country in a rainstorm.
