A friend is someone who walks in when the whole world has walked out.

This is Teresa, my friend.

It is imperative that we implement a system of ecolonomic homeostasis to fight against the current anthropotechnogenic economic, social and environmental crises. Recent global economic and political instability has revealed the shortcomings of our current capitalist system. It further confirms the necessity for an ultramodern paradigm shift. On account of the deleterious impact of the financialization of the economic ecosystem, we must introduce an oligopolistic system that can be sustainably managed. The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is what is needed to fulfill our sustainable development goals. Environmental awareness must be the center of our ethos as we work to reduce our anthroposphere periphery in pursuit of global co-immunity. Not only must we manipulate living organisms through science and engineering to create commodities, we must also manipulate the Anthropos through cryptoeconomic engineering.

This new cryptospheric ecotechnic cybernetic system will revolve around a cyber-physical environmental intelligence. This transhuman technosphere of 15 minute city ecoregions will adopt a sustainable economic welfare system that will revolve around harvesting the body’s energy. You will be a collective of communities, a multitude of capital. We will combine biomimetics and thermoeconomics to economically rebalance the core-periphery dynamic. Xenocommodification: all money creation must have biophysical embedding—666. This thermalisation of thermoeconomics will be globally self-replicated.

In short: take the Mark of the Beast and become transhuman—embrace the techno-Beast system, because techno-animism is the way of the future!

These nerds want an economic system that revolves around the environment—a Social Credit Score System that will be linked to your Carbon Footprint and to the United Nations 17 goals of Sustainable Development. The ultimate goal is to tie this eco-economic system together with transhumanism—the merging of man and microchip…data capitalism (data totalitarianism).

Warning: “Constantly be on your guard so that your hearts will not be loaded down with self-indulgence, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, or that day will take you by surprise like a trap, because it will come on everyone who lives on the face of the earth. So be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to take your stand in the presence of the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

It's a lagoon called Lagoa de Mira. It is a beautiful place, the bad part of it's story is that politicians have started to create these artificial islands in the middle of it, that do make nice photographs but are totally stupid and are not necessary since this place is just gorgeous all by itself. Somehow we need to stop creative politicians!

Sunrise, IMHO, it's the most higly rewarding moment to spend close to nature when you are a photographer. There is nothing like it. It's by far my most favorite time of the day to wonder around with my camera. The silent moments, the bird singing, the fog and dew that goes away with the first warming sunlight rays, wild flowers, some simple yet elegant, others colorful and a lot more sophisticated, a breakfast picnic under the old oak tree. Simple moments that pull me up and make me happy, a great boost to start the week! Have a nice one, everybody.

Oh yeah, the big size rocks!!

In life, the paths you take and the choices you make are all about finding your place in the world.

It was quiet, so quiet i could hear my thoughts. However, I would luv to hear yours, too.

Yeah, bits of another perfect day.

For thousands of people fun starts here, every friday and saturday night, at the dock of the river Tagus, really close to the bridge. Bars and bar hoping, restaurants, discos, a huge place outside where people have drinks and enjoy a great view. Seasons are changing, summertime is very close and the great fun is about to start .View large, it's cool!

The sun is gone on this one. The sea was beautiful and there's this pool, filled with fresh sea water everytime tide rises. There is a small village of very white houses on the cliff. I will publish those next. For now, just enjoy my blues.

Population in Ribeira de Santarém, a small village on the Tagus river bank, learned to live with ocasional floods every year. They have adapted their way of living to the river rising waters and never store valuables in their homes lower levels. Yesterday, when we visited the site, they were concerned but making the most out of the day. This area is well known for their wonderful rich pastures, grazing bulls and horses. Today, waters are expected to rise again.

I know, i know, you are probably fed up with this place, but i can't help it...:)actually you will be seeing more shots of this place shot with the sunset light. I am looking forward to that so stay tuned. Also today, i have received a bunch of photography books i have bought using the $100 gift certificate prize i won at The Portfolio Pro Group so, thanks to them!!! My shots will be better after i read all these books:) and that's because there is always room for improvement, yes there is!

Oh ya, you will find the large version of this and other works published here

Feb 21st, 6:30 am -Friends and I decided to track dawn at Praia da Ursa, the westernmost point of Europe. It was still dark and the wind was blowing really strong. As we came down the cliff we thought to ourselves it was really worthy to be there...such a peaceful environment...like being in the middle of nowhere but i guess to understand what that means, you will have to go and find out for yourself.

Golden hour on the same place

I just love the light on this one! It's so beautiful, it almost looks like a night shot, right? well, it's not. This is my favorite shot of this afternoon's bundle.

Together we’re building a new identity ecosystem, a globally recognized universal biometric ID blockchain system. It will be a biometric smartchip ID that will be tracked worldwide by AI to solve the 17 sustainable development goals.

The Mark of the Beast is a Certification Mark of authentication (the new global standard), affirming that all who are involved with this new global biometric digital ID blockchain are compliant with the core principles of the 17 Sustainable Development goals, which have been adopted by all the United Nations Member States. No one will be able to buy or sell or do anything in society without this Certification Mark. This Mark will now become mandatory for all. Without it, you will be arrested.

Through the means of a microchip implant we will be able to eradicate human trafficking (we cause the crisis, and then we offer you the solution). Every kind of supposed virtuous cause will be exploited to promote the 666 Beastchip. Climate change…take the smartchip…blah, blah, blah. Refugees…take the smartchip…blah, blah, blah. Human rights…take the smartchip…blah, blah, blah. Fight poverty…take the smartchip…blah, blah, blah. For the sake of equality, inclusiveness, and sustainability…take the smartchip…blah, blah, blah.

Under huge sunflowers looking up! It reminds me of the days i watched animation movies with my children. It's a tribute to all those happy hours we shared together now that my daughter, Matilde, is about to leave (tomorrow) to apply to Medical school at University of Leuven, Belgium. To you: It's bug-eat-bug world out there and, although you are having a wonderful starting point, you still have a long path to walk. But we will always be here for you and you should never forget that :)

Comments with group images, deleted. Sorry about that.

The Copernicus Sentinel-2B satellite takes us over Kyoto, shown in the top right, and Osaka, seen in the bottom left of this image. This striking false-colour image captures two of Japan’s larger cities, which are home to 1.5 and 2.7 million people, respectively. Both are, of course, significantly smaller than the capital. Greater Tokyo has a population of around 38 million, making it the largest megacity in the world.

The landscape of the Kyoto Prefecture varies from mountains and bamboo groves to waterfalls and forests. Vegetation is shown in vibrant shades of blue here, with built-up areas represented in yellow-red tones. Longer wavelength bands have been used when processing the image to make it easier to differentiate land cover, penetrate haze, and identify bodies of water.

Whilst almost three-quarters of the country is mountainous, less than 10% is covered by bodies of water. Northeast of Kyoto, we can see Lake Biwa, located in the neighbouring Shiga Prefecture. This is the largest freshwater lake in Japan, covering an area of 672 sq km.

The area is famous for being home to Narezushi, the precursor to modern-day sushi. The dish is thought to have originated in southeast Asia around the second century CE. People began to prepare it in Japan between 8 and 10 CE. Funazushi, using nigorobuna fish, typical of the Lake area, is prepared by fermenting and preserving the fish with rice and salt in barrels for up to a year. The result is a strong-tasting dish, often compared to blue cheese and accompanied by sake.

Visitors from all over the world travel to Kyoto, which is widely regarded as the cultural capital of the country. They are drawn by sites such as the Fushimi Inari Shrine, a UNESCO world heritage site, where more than 10 000 Torii gates stand in dedication to the Shinto god of rice.

The multicultural food scene of Osaka, meanwhile, attracts foodies, on the lookout for tasty street food and an insight into 'kappo dining'. Meaning ‘to cut and to cook’, this less formal cuisine focuses on bringing the diner and the chef together, with diners often given the chance to chat with the person who is preparing their meal.

Over 100 Member governments and 120 participating organizations will gather in Kyoto from 29 October – 2 November for the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Week 2018. The week’s events will focus on the use of Earth observation for the benefit of humankind through GEO’s three priority areas: the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, the Paris Climate Agreement, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

This is the name of this so important Project I've been visiting, where doctors, dentists and

educators go by boat, visiting many poor communitys along the Tapajós River, places where there are no social public services, developing health, education and communication. Distances in Amazonia are large and the path are usually the rivers.

My friend Carline, a special and happy soul, was playing with some kids and one

of the young community leaders. Carline is a changemaker, as all those amazing

people who are working there.

Are you a changemaker too?

Please, visit this group, and join us here :)

We had a blast, these are all great people, there is always lots laughing and crazy jokes when we get together. We have a great time. Pena was the spot chosen and this is a shot taken there, before sunset happened. We were the last ones to leave the building. Security had to drag us out of there :))

is here.

I have was reposted this one!...it's a bit more dramatic now. Hopefully you all still like it. I like it a lot more, today i was a bit more inspired. :)

GARE MARITIME AT TOUR & TAXIS SITE - Tour & Taxis used to be a huge freight station were many goods arrived and left Brussels. Around 1900 enourmous warehouses were built. Railways, loading and unloading quays were constructed. The freight station was known as Gare Maritime and had a surface of 4 hectares, the largest freight station of Europe. In 1994 the infrastructure was completely closed and in 2000 the railway was taken out of service. A huge part of the city was ready to be reconverted and become an experiment for sustainable urban development. Recently the Gare Maritime was fully renovated. It is a fine example of circular construction reusing materials available on site. It is an energy neutral building making use of renewable energy. It will become a new hub for culture, social activities, work, shopping and living in the future.

West Woods is an absolutely unique forest not far from Avebury. The recent publications show clearly that it was indeed the original place where the large stones for Stonhenge were taken from. Most likely the ancient creators used the river Avon to transport the large stones from the forest to the Stonehenge.

i know, i have photographed this place so many times...yet everytime i go back there is a different mood and the landscape has changed so much....This is Alcochete, the river Tagus and a really low tide. On this day, the sky was beautiful (well, nothing new!) but the light was amazing and there was only these two people picking seashells and us, me and my friends. The wind was blowing hard letting us antecipate the end of summer and leaving a certain feeling of emptiness, though a luminous emptiness.
