This picture is full of contradictions and mixed message. During the talk with Mags Liddy I seemed more convinced that the idea of sustainable progression is full of contradictions.
The image appears old and aged but was actually was taken in Nov. 07. The text “look back to look forward” is a contradiction but it also breathes light to the notion that our past can contain solutions to the elevating the problems within sustainable progression.

Khamis is a shepherd in the summer pastures areas of Azerbaijan (Ismayilli region). Thanks to the project "Ecosystem-based approaches to climate change", he learned how to manage his pastures in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner, while improving pasture/soil conditions and land management practices. After the February earthquake in Chile saw the closure of Monticello Grand Casino and Entertainment World for four months, about 800 employees worked to help the community to recover.

Living Earth Foundation has been working in Iran since 2006, initially working within the framework of the Persian Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project, in which Shell and Repsol were key partners.
