"I don't know, I don't care
Cause I'm living without you baby
Even when I know what's going on
Yeah it only took, one look, one glance
To set my heart for romance
Do you believe my sweet surrender
My sweet surrender"
Is this real enough for you?
You were so confused
Now that you've decided to stay
We'll remain together
You can't abandon me
You belong to me
Breathe in and take my life in you
No longer myself only you
Theres no escaping me my love
Surrender
Darling there's no sense in running
You know I will find you
Everything is perfect now
We can live forever
You will surrender to me
There's no escaping from me
your kiss lingers on my lips
like the taste of sweetest liquor
intoxicating me
inch by inch 'til I surrender.

Whyte Islet in West Vancouver, one of the most photographed spots off the coast near Horseshoe Bay. The beach around the little islet changes after every low and high tide and never disappoints.

The 25 foot tall statue near the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier located in downtown San Diego, California depicts the famous Life Magazine image of a sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square as they celebrated the end of World War II in 1945.
The statue is a series of sculptures made by Seward Johnson.
Tourists enjoy taking their pictures assuming the same pose with a loved one at its base. A young couple asked me to take their picture while emulating "The Kiss".
Thank you for your comments,

"Whatever happened to all this season's losers of the year?
Every time I got to thinking, where'd they disappear?
When I woke up, mom and dad are rolling on the couch.
Rolling numbers, rock and rolling, got my kiss records out" Cheap Trick.

Boy am I loving Spotify. I'm not sure that those in the car are loving it when I am in control of reacquainting myself with all the old songs I grew up with. I imagine it is somewhat disturbing in the same way that the child in this song feels when he finds his parents rocking and rolling etc. I sing very badly and very loudly but with joy :)
The above is the Colonnades at Cape Woolamai. We planned on taking sunset shots from the beach. Two problems with that-the tide was coming right up to the cliff face and a storm was rolling in. Fortunately we were able to stand on the stairs and take images and watch the storm. It was magic so we just surrended to the storm.
He finally, after flying all around the pond, let me take his photo. And yep, I stuck him dead center in my photo too. Just a note; I never harass wildlife and try to keep an acceptable distance and am careful when shooting around their environment. This heron for example was on a small hill and across a stream.

Buckfast Abbey forms part of an active Benedictine monastery at Buckfast, near Buckfastleigh, Devon. Buckfast has been home to an abbey since 1018. The first Benedictine abbey was followed by a Savignac (later Cistercian) abbey constructed on the site of the current abbey in 1134. The monastery was surrendered for dissolution in 1539, with the monastic buildings stripped and left as ruins, before being finally demolished. The former abbey site was used as a quarry, and later became home to a Gothic mansion house.
In 1882 the site was purchased by a group of French Benedictine monks, who refounded a monastery on the site, dedicated to Saint Mary. New monastic buildings and a temporary church were constructed incorporating the existing Gothic house. Work on a new abbey church, which was constructed mostly on the footprint of the former Cistercian abbey, started in 1907. The church was consecrated in 1932 but not completed until 1938.
Buckfast was formally reinstated as an Abbey in 1902, and the first abbot of the new institution, Boniface Natter, was blessed in 1903. The abbey continues to operate as a Benedictine foundation today.
