I don't know why but I love photos of grass especially if they are hit by intense light.

The variety of tones of the flowers under the sunlight, the soft movement - everything looks to me as poetry being made with much delicacy by the nature.

'Surrender' is a macro photograph of a peony on a black background.

This weeks theme of the 'Smile on Saturday' group is 'PAWNS'. I have had this chess game for many years but rarely use it nowadays as nobody wants to play with me and I think the chess pieces were happy to leave their box for a moment. The match ended quickly, though, as the white pawn surrended to the 'enemy' before the had even started to play. :) HSoS !
