Sunset over the River Humber on 18/05/18. I'd watched as the sun dipped behind a bank of cloud and I thought that was it, so I packed away the camera. Just as I was about to get back into the car, the sun re-appeared from beneath a layer of cloud and slowly moved further down behind another cloud layer. I got the camera back out and took a few images as part of the sun was sliced through by two cloud layers.
With only ten days to go before the line shuts for 4 months and Electrification starts the remaining platform Semaphores at Blackpool North are seen against the setting stormy sky. 1st November 2017

these vivid sunsets are typical here at this time of year. the camera can't do these sunsets justice!
one of the few sunsets wich I made in Portugal, to bad the sun didn't touched the surface of the sea but dissapeared behind the hills, however, i love the orange glow in the sky and the reflection in the water caused by the low tide...

Wednesday and Thursday evening I was driving home and was privy to spectacular sunsets……unfortunately I didn’t have my camera and there was no place to stop safely. So Friday night I was determined to catch the sunset and I drove up to a vantage point near Poowong. Unedited image.
