Taken from the top of St Helena, Grenoside looking down the Don Valley towards Oughtibridge and Stocksbridge. Previously, no foreground interest but the rapeseed adds a base to the image. Very windy so the flowers are rather blurred!

A rare outing for sunset. I took these on Easter Monday, somewhat fitting as the date of Easter, in the Catholic Church, was set at the Synod of Whitby held in the Abbey.

This is an oldie from the beautiful Port Hood beach in Cape Breton from a few summers ago when i visited my sister there.

Sunset time in the Masai Mara is always a magical time.

With the sun setting the horizon suddenly changes from clear blue to fiery red and if there is a storm close by you will see rainbow of colours all over the skyline.

Whilst on safari we always try and get to a strategic location to place the sun as it is setting for a memorable photograph. This was taken in the Masai Mara during a photography safari.
