I am very happy with how the color matching turned out. Its funny I had to pick the under under a dim fluorescent but it work out! I definitely feel the full red frame is more aesthetically pleasing.

Subframe cut down

Single 15 minute subframe, unprocessed taken with Astrodon 3nm HA, SBIG 6303E, Astrotech AT12RCT. This is an ongoing project which will ultimately be an LRGBHa , 8,8,9,10, 10 hours respectively of imaging data

You will not win bushing! All this extra work because I refused to go the ghetto route and burn out the rubber and cut the rest out with a saws-all.

Lots of rustproofing gunk in the rear subframe before the hydrolastic displacers go in place.
