"Fitting the cab, grille and wiring to the subframe"
This issue is an important stage in the assembly process as the cab is fitted to the subframe. The first part of the lower deck flooring is also supplied.
Rear view of the underneath, which will be invisible once the floor is fitted. I have put the wires in the subframe channels, but not tidied them up yet.
Project SR-71:
1971 Datsun 240Z with an sr20de-t. I have fabbed in a rear subframe from a 1990 Nissan 240SX S13 as well as the complete IRS from the S13. This includes the differential from a R32 Skyline and axles. I have also fabbed in the S13 front crossmember which allows me to use all of the suspension components from the S13. In order to make this work, I actually had to extend the wheelbase of the Datsun by about 7.5". This actually helps because the Datsun has a short wheelbase as it is, so this longer wheelbase puts it at about the same as the S13.

The Andromeda Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy and is the nearest major galaxy to the Milky Way. It was originally named the Andromeda Nebula and is cataloged as Messier 31 and NGC 224. Andromeda has a D25 isophotal diameter of about 46.56 kpc (152,000 ly) and is approximately 765 kpc (2.5 Mly) from Earth. The galaxy's name stems from the area of Earth's sky in which it appears, the constellation of Andromeda, which itself is named after the princess who was the wife of Perseus in Greek mythology.
The virial mass of the Andromeda Galaxy is of the same order of magnitude as that of the Milky Way, at 1 trillion solar masses (2.0×10^42 kilograms). The mass of either galaxy is difficult to estimate with any accuracy, but it was long thought that the Andromeda Galaxy was more massive than the Milky Way by a margin of some 25% to 50%. However, this has been called into question by early-21st-century studies indicating a possibly lower mass for the Andromeda Galaxy and a higher mass for the Milky Way. The Andromeda Galaxy has a diameter of about 46.56 kpc (152,000 ly), making it the largest member of the Local Group of galaxies in terms of extension.
The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies have about a 50% chance of colliding with each other in the next 10 billion years, merging to potentially form a giant elliptical galaxy or a large lenticular galaxy.
With an apparent magnitude of 3.4, the Andromeda Galaxy is among the brightest of the Messier objects, and is visible to the naked eye from Earth on moonless nights, even when viewed from areas with moderate light pollution.
To reduce engine movement a full set of engine, transmission and subframe mounts were installed. This results in less engine slop between shifts and smooth acceleration off the line.
Reprocessed with additional subframes added during the brief clear spells we've had with this continuous run of cloud since mid December!

This issue is an important stage in the assembly process as the cab is fitted to the subframe. The first part of the lower deck flooring is also supplied.
In this part, a lot of stuff is put together. The cab floor is fitted into the cab structure, which was attached to the nearside wind and front grille a few issues ago. the whole of this assembly is then attached to the subframe. And it was very fiddly, some of the screws in the wheelarches being almost impossible to get at. The pipes on the external cab side had to be attached to the engine and the wires tidied up. But, it is now starting to look like a bus - a big bus!
