Right Rear Subframe with old rubber bushing removed.

As you can see from the above picture. Gussets have been added to the boxy subframe to increase its strength and rigidity. This allows the driver to better feel the rear end of the car.

Subframe painted in 'stonechip', which is a plasticky paint. It was sprayed on using a compressor. This went over the primer.

You will not win bushing! All this extra work because I refused to go the ghetto route and burn out the rubber and cut the rest out with a saws-all.

2020.04.18 Removing and patching up the subframe. Fixing a few rusty spots, and repaired the broken diff mount. Waiting now for subframe bushings and reassembly

About ~1hr (20s subframes) of integration at 1000mm f5. Not to happy with the banding in the final image, but it's my best shot of M42 yet.

Found three cracks. Hopefully the can be welded.
