I was talking about squash flowers the other day and how I wanted to find a vegan recipe for stuffing them - now I did!

Stuffed with a mix of bulgur wheat, navy bean paste, spinach, and carrot and various spices, and then lightly fried. Very nice and compact - a little "Amuse-bouche" before the main course.

Hi, my name is Jasper. I am a little rabbit made from very funky black fabric. I have been stuffed with love (and some polyfill to make me extra soft!). I am 9 inches from head to toe but if I stretch my ears up really high I am very big indeed!. I have a cheeky white felt face because I love to cause trouble and my eyes and nose have been hand embroidered. I come with a card to say thank you for adopting me and if you ask nicely it can be personalised with your name or message.

I was made from a pattern drawn by my maker Katy.

We went to a screening in Chicago of the first two eps of the new series of "True Blood" tonight. While we didn't win any of the big bags of swag, or have any stars appear that we could lick, we did get some neat stuff, including pens that flash this.

It was a fun night with free parking, free entry, free popcorn and soda and some cool free stuff. :)

Sigh...another Mini Spirit. From the wonderful Beth Webber pattern. Still not tired of these. I made her wig about 8 months ago, just waiting for the right doll.

...and now I'm over French Toast. I'm not a fan of eggs. In fact, I don't eat eggs unless they are baked into something. I liked the stuffing part I made from cream cheese, jam, and fresh strawberries, but the egg part, I wasn't a fan of. Plus I wish I'd made my own bread with this because the Italian bread I purchased just didn't do it for me.
