A set of 8 photographs of the same girl in various dance outfits and postures. I think the photographer has encouraged her to go over the top with her jazz hands.
The studio was Gainsboro Studio, Hope St, Hanley but I can't decipher the signature you can see at the bottom of some the shots. The photos are all 7" by 9" and in even bigger frames.
I entered this photo in a portrait competition for the Camera Club of Ottawa and later won "Best Colour Portrait of the Year".
I meet this lovely young lady at one of my photography workshops and thought she looked like Natalie Wood and asked her if I could photograph her in a studio. She agreed.

Today I attended a portrait class presentend by McBain Camera (a local camera store) The afternoon was spent practising with 2 models. Catherine Spink was the first model that we worked with. A full day of learning now I just hope I remember what we were taught.
