KXG 661 is a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President new to West Midlands Travel as V46 MOA (4046) in November 1999. It passed to sister company Tayside (Xplore Dundee) in 2015 and has since passed to Stuarts of Carluke in Lanarkshire for use as a school contract vehicle.
I built this little pillar drill a few years back. Drawings, castings and bar stock are from Stuart Models. Fun to make, there is a lot of friction in the wire spring drive belt. This model will become a part of the steam driven Victorian line shaft workshop I'm building in about 1/8" scale. At some time, I plan to make an alteration to this and convert the angle dive from spring belt to a bevel geared drive at 90 degrees. All in the master project plan..!
UFE 712 is a Scania K340EB6/Caetano Levante new as National Express SH19 (FJ57 KHY) in September 2007.
It entered service with Stuarts of Carluke n 2021 as UFE 712 and is seen here covering a school service.
Dunstable, Bedfordshire based Stuart Palmer acquired fourteen Leyland Fleetline FE30ALR from London Buses in 1992/3. Park Royal bodied THX 481S formerly DMS2481 stands outside the depot building on May 30th 1992.
I turned around in my chair and this is what I saw. The sunlight shining through the skylight on Stuart and making that design on the screen.

NSV 224 is a Volvo B12M/Transbus Paragon Expressliner new to First Southern National as WM03 BXP (No. 6314) in July 2003 for National Express services. It gained the Firstbus national fleet number 20535.
On disposal it joined the Houston of Lockerbie fleet then the Cliffs Coaches, High Wycombe fleet before joining Stuarts of Carluke in September 2018. it is seen here in Carluke operating a school contract.

these are my buddy stuart's. he's overseas for work so i squeezed into them for a few shots so i could put them up for sale. size 11EEE, he typically wears a 12 so they're apparently a bit roomier than a standard 11 (i'm a 13.5/14 and they were tight as hell on me).

At 936am a NB Brightline train crosses the Stuart drawbridge enroute Orlando. There was a pile driver working just out of the frame to the right, which may be prep work for the new bridge that will replace this span some four years down the road.

Mount Stuart was given its name by George B. McClellan on August 26, 1853, in honor of his oldest and best friend, "the late Capt. Jas. Stuart of the Rifles—a gallant soldier & accomplished gentleman.

FJ11 MKO is a Volvo B9R/Caetano Levante new to Stuarts of Carluke in July 2011 for National Express service 544 (Glasgow-Manchester-London). It was painted into fleet colours during 2017 but seen here in London on the overnight 596 to Edinburgh.
Stuarts of Carluke operate 55 buses and coaches from their base in Carluke, South Lanarkshire although the PSV Circle record more than 55 vehicles owned in their last fleet list publication.
Two of their coaches are seen here at Biggar Rugby Club inbetween school duties. Volvo B12B/Caetano Enigma RSU 585 (SF07 DLU, 07-D-120028) is alongside Neoplan Skyliner N2216SHD BSV 216 (PK13 GDO, SSS 14).
The most important men (including his children, who are now grown up, but I decided to post some pictures of them with daddy) in his life. John and Stu. Stu is believed to have been John's best and ultimate friend. Their bond was unerringly strong, due to the fact that they were both witty. Stuart died in 1962, when John was 21. His death affected John throughout his life.
