spoke to the manager and she said it is an original Kroger store from 1950 with only the front of the store seeing any renovations. The store number of this store is # 953 and the size is right at 8000 Square feet. The address of this store is 456 E. St Louis Street. This is the smallest Kroger store I have ever seen.

300/365: So, I had to go to the Apple Store this morning, because my MacBook Pro crashed again and wasn’t booting up at all. This is very likely to the graphics card issue with 2011 15″ MBPs. I’ve had the same issue pretty much exactly one year ago. I got a new logic board back then (for free), but now the problem returned. Luckily, I got a spontaneous appointment at the store in the early afternoon. So they checked it, and now my laptop is in repair with them. I signed up for a “business-membership” for a year, mainly to get priority-repair and a replacement-machine in the meantime. And now I have to deal with a German kezboard layout for at least a week. A visit to Maker Media’s pop-up store at 345 Sutter Street, in San Francisco's iconic Union Square. For the holidays, they offer a well-curated selection of maker products: from drones to robots, 3d printing and do-it-yourself kits. You can gets hands-on experience for some of these products, and they also give free workshops. I was there to meet Dale Dougherty, founder and chairman of Maker Media, to get his advice on our art maker programs, such as the Pataphysical Slot Machine exhibit and the Create Your Own Wonderbox workshops. He was very generous with his time and gave me some really helpful guidance for how to grow this project next year. Maker Media is the publisher of Make: magazine, the producer of the popular Maker Faires — and a driving force for the Maker movement.

The Boutique store closed in 2011 as the owner retired.

The Store Manager at Split Rock Books

her hair is so stiff...she is like so dirty its disgusting! I can't wait to get to work on her :D

First Edition Disney Store Merida with the famous "green nose" problem. I bought her nude and second hand.

Her nose, the ears, hands, feet, knees and chin were green (production fail), and her hair was a bit frizzy. Result after 2 weeks work :)

Alice, Dave and son stand before the haul. SeaLug put a small dent in inventory I think.

There are some happy Builders =)

Another rural exploration day, another empty trip... So this is an image from last year's trip to Saskatchewan, one that I had already processed and posted, but decided to give it a different look. (Yes, it's the Bents general store.)

Camptown Store--the front portion with the porch is the store part, attached to the home. The store has been out of business for several years now. I don't know when this collapse happened. Located in the area of Charlotte County, Virginia known as Aspen.

Update December 2023--This building is no more.

I was quite amazed to find a store specializing only in candies. They also have all kinds of interesting soft drinks, but the main theme of the store is candies from all over the world. This was a shot from the street, through a glass window.

I walked into the store and looked around a little, but one of the store clerks asked me "Can I help you?" almost as soon as I entered the store, and stayed close to me the whole time I was in the store. Obviously, the camera around my neck made them quite nervous.

I got the sense they would not have been enthusiastic about me taking any pictures inside their store, so I did not even attempt it!

Looks like Rilakkuma might be getting ready to go out into the cold. He has gloves and hat on. Maybe this is a winter edition plush.

I had to take a pic of this. It has to be one of the worlds ugliest thrift store paintings.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: This dress is very similar to the JC Penney Elsa gown I've had for years. The main difference is that it is more detailed. It has a beautiful snowflake print on the sheer layer over the dress. It's not that easy to see in a photograph though. Disney Store clothes are usually very detailed, but not made with the most durable of fabrics. This, like many other ensembles in my collection, is designed from a thin satin. I'm surprised that it isn't ripped or fraying anywhere--for that I'm grateful. I would have bought Miss Elsa in the nude anyways, especially since I already owned a doll-less JC Penney ensemble. But I was over the moon to find my doll still donning her dress. She wasn't in the most pristine condition by any means, but it was very appreciated that she had not been outfit swapped with another doll. I think this shade of teal/blue looks stunning with Elsa's icy blonde hair and her super pale skin. While I love Anna's signature outfit too, I think I might like Elsa's a hair more (even though it is only one piece). I will say that this outfit is far more interesting than my Mattel Elsa's getup. Of course she has a molded top and only a cheap removable skirt, so it's easy to beat that. I like that the Disney Store hasn't adopted the molded clothes trend that Mattel and Hasbro seem to be keen for.

Can tell winters coming with all the boot

Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport...08 June 2015.

Former Creative Hobbies retail store, warehouse and offices on Route 73 at the Mt. Laurel-Evesham NJ border, opened in December 1978. Creative Hobbies was a chain of mainly mall stores which they supplied from here. The front portion was a retail store, in the back was their warehouse and headquarters. The building retains its original look, now housing a tile and marble business.

EWS-liveried DB Cargo Class 90, 90 032, sits in one of the storage lines at Crewe Electric depot - where it has been now for over 14 years (since February 2004).

Just visible to the left of 90032 is 90030 (stored January 2006).
