Twenty is a project for the home and contract market characterized by a strong personality and studied in each detail. The seat is realized in polyethylene by means of rotational moulding and rests on a metal structure available in two versions: fixed or swivel with gas lift. The large opening in the backrest with handle shape and in the seat with pocket shape are not only a decoration detail but they make functional the seat.

this stool uses two simple frames with wooden slats connecting them. the width of the slats increase as it flows around the frame.
as for the proportions it was expected that 'the screen' t.v and computer is something people are most exposed to as of now, and they'll receive with decent visual comfort. after the right ergonomics was worked out it one side was given a proportion of 9:16 and the other 3:4.

Thrift score -- days after admiring a Grant Featherston stool that some mad person wanted $2,600 for, I found this one at a cheap-o vintage shop. I brought it home on the bus today.
These GORGEOUS stools, in the style of Arthur Umanoff, were a bit rusty and dirty. I knew they would go perfectly in our studio. A little (or a lot) of steel wool and they are shining again.

What is craft in the 21st century?
This stool is a celebration of the possibilities emerging from mixing craft with technology. An imperfect hand-drawn pattern becomes the base of this stool after being laser cut. It is as well a final extravaganza in acrylic. What is going to happen when there is no more plastic or we are banned from using it? Plastic pieces will rise in value. Therefore, the Bloom Stool is a last celebration of this material, and a potential investment.

I finally got around to painting this old stool I found in the trash a couple weeks ago to match my aquarium stand.
It always amazes me what a fresh coat of paint will do.
GONE - We have multiples of these attractive industrial-style stools, which have nice lines on the back supports and a small footprint.
I was getting my light and lens depth set before a shoot ...ha !!!

this is a joint i made for the course "advanced mechanics and computer simulation" I attended @ AHO . It is modeled in SolidWorks, and (r)prototyped with laser sintering.
The joint is part of a stool that was supposed to hold 100Kg
GONE - We got this little vintage vanity stool and painted it in grey and yellow. The original had a curious reversible top with rattan on one side and red velvet on the other. We have set it firmly in place with graduated stripes. Storage, seating--fun!
