A great graphic and Steve still skates too (and damn well apparently!).
The Public Domain black and white clip with McRad soundtrack (Weakness & McShred) blew everyone's minds with Ray Barbee, Eric Sanderson & Chet Thomas. It was a new level of street skating, we witnessed a new generation of bones brigade.
In fact every segment that Saiz featured in he completely destroyed with his smooth style and technical prowess.
I believe that Sean Cliver's graphics on this board are one of the most underrated at present, the board can still be easily found on ebay and is quite inexpensive....but the graphics are fantastic and really issued (along with the Ray Barbee's deck) Powell's breaking away from skull'n'bones themes of VCJ art and into a new era for the company. This graphic uses the same technique as VCJ's art (white scratchboard).
To me this graphic is a conglomeration of many influences of the company: George's tradition, Court's technique, the tribal motif of Craig Stecyk and his wife Lynn Coleman and the moving away from 'skulls' that Stacy and Craig wished to occur. The graphic taps into Steve's Spanish heritage.
The deck hangs proudly on my wall.
Pattern dependent on a dice roll. 1 for red right, 2 for green left, 3 for yellow down, 4 for blue up.

Powell Bones Cross Bones sticker. This bootleg came out of a vending machine in front of Wal-Mart, I think in the late 1980's or early 1990's.

I do all my packaging at home, from scratch. (Well, with some help from my computer, of course.) I made a bunch of cute stickers, promoting Etsy and SpiceRak Designs, to put all over the outside of my packaging. I print them out onto Avery address stickers, which totally suits my purposes.
