Wednesday afternoon I was on my way to a business meeting, and had my 105 macro on the camera... looking for texture and detail as I went. (I have to get my shooting in when I can!) And I walked by this fence that hid a garbage dumpster.
I'm a texture guy. Love the grit and grime and distress and wear of things. And throw a little typography into the mix just makes it that much better! To me... it just proves how very rich and full of story the everyday elements of life all around me truly are! But... I know that one man's texture treasure is another man's urban eyesore.
A couple of quick composited shots added a little something to my Wednesday experience!

The mother of the child whose head is partially visible also chose to harass me, despite this photograph being taken in a public place, and despite being informed that only the top of her child's head appeared in the photograph. She did not give me cause to fear immediate violence, or as far as I am aware commit any other criminal offence. Unfortunately, as she chose to speak to me while I was leaving the train with my hands full, I was unable to photograph her.
