Macro Mondays: Sticker
One of a set of Canada stickers I have, which also includes several maple leaves, a Mountie's hat, and -- of course! -- a moose. I wanted to show the little adhesive square on the back, so I dug out one of my miniature mirrors. The mirror is less than 2" in diameter; frame is about 2.75" across.
Sticker Bear was giving himself a nice little butt scratch on the tree trunk in this shot.
I like this shot because it shows the youthfulness in his face. Such a cute little bear, but then all young animals are cute in my opinion.

BNSF 6022 was one of the company's 10 commemorative locomotives featuring predecessor logos for the 25th anniversary of the super-merger. A modern version of BN's Pacific Pride units 1 & 2.
I happened to catch the 6022 leading previously in the wintertime. But of the 3 "sticker" units I've seen, the sun hadn't cooperated till now.
Perhaps it's a little ironic this day was Warren Buffett's birthday.

A lot of fans were dissatisfied with getting "just stickers". Yes, we've been spoiled with companies painting full-on heritage units.
They could've done nothing at all, this is something different and uniquely BN. I like it.

We stopped at Wicked Willow in Stevens Point for lunch yesterday and I was excited to see that they put one of my stickers right by the register!
As always, the food was fantastic. Mike had the Daddy Ope Munchwrap, I had spring rolls, and we shared an order of fries. We also got a magic cookie bar to go. SO delicious!
