Fun stay-home quarantine project: two beer bottles, zipper sleves, hands made of paper, two silicone caps, a white screen and a video light with directed light.
Imagine they are two show performers on a stage or two movie stars at the Oscars Academy Awards haha. Imagine whatever you want… it’s just a little project I had fun doing.

she stayed home sick today. we went outside for some fresh air, and she went digging around in the dirt (she's going to be an archaeologist i swear.) anyway, here is the conversation that followed:
me: what do you think about this wing?
her: the wing was protected. it came from a dragonfly. it wanted to be with me. it wanted to live with me. it wanted to love me. it "comed" from a place, probably georgia.
me: why do you think it came from georgia?
her: because it wanted to be with me
me: why would it choose to be with you?
her: it "feeled" like it wanted to stay with me.
me: why?
her: because it's brave.
me: do need you need somebody brave to be with you?
her: yes. if the wing floats away, it would still not be with me
me: who would be there to be brave with you?
her: my best friends
me: why do you need somebody to be brave with you? you can't be brave by yourself?
her: nope.
me: why not?
her: i don't know. it's sad. if it didn't want to be with me, it could be with another person
me: why do you think the wing is brave?
her: because it's from the dragonfly
me: don't you think it needs its wing back to fly?
her: probably it needs it back for something, and probably it's sad because he or she are not going to protect it or something
me: why do you think you found it?
her: because it looks special to me
me: what's the best part of the wing?
her: it's magical.
I accidentally stumbled over a sweet picture in the photostream of Dodo Ahanu www.flickr.com/photos/bydodoahanu/49863903296/in/dateposted/, and I realised with a happy little squeak that Bryn Oh and Cica Ghost have created another installation together. The apropos is not so happy, though... it is The Virus, and how it affects our everyday life, mainly through social distancing. We feel more isolated by the day, and we look forward to a homing pigeon bringing us news from other, similarly isolated human beings.

Hausarrest. Wenn es doch nur so einfach wäre. Ich würde lügen, würde die Situation nichts aus mir machen. Zeit, Einiges auf den Prüfstand zu stellen. Social Media z.B.. Wenigstens den Stellenwert und die Einstellung dazu. Jeder wird sich Gedanken machen müssen. Sollte sich Gedanken machen. Ich wünsche mir, dass die gesamte Menschheit mit einem geschärften, sensibleren Bewusstsein aus der jetzigen Situation rauskommt. Bis dahin: don't roam / stay home.

Filling up the sink again,
wishing I could be with a friend.
Staying home is such a bore,
time again for another chore.
Soapy, finds me standing in place
and puts a smile on my face.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin on a weekday late morning. We drove through town on the way to our nature walk.
Today, they closed the Park but they left one small parking area to discourage people from congregating. I don't mind it at all. We should all make the effort to prevent this virus from spreading!

Le télétravail, Online work comme on l’appelle aussi comporte aussi ses risques. Prenez le temps pour marcher ou courir dans des endroits isolés. Ça va bien aller.

Teleworking also carries its risks. Take the time to walk or run in isolated places. It's going to be fine.
