Staying home, staying safe from the rapid spread of the Covid 19-Omicron (Ομικρον) variant!
Taken on our balcony in Chalandri, Attica, Greece on January 6, 2022 with my mobile phone.

Yes, our own back yard is such a joy for us! This was straight from the cam. I wanted to include the metal sculptural *A* by the rock in a garden we created for a dear friend who passed away suddenly last spring.
The little settee in the lower left hand corner is an old wrought iron piece from my childhood. One of the seats is not in the photo, but I shot this quickly, not really concentrating on little details!
I did put my signature near our wooden egret who is now sporting an orange beak! LOL . . .
There is actually a very little stream by the egret which flows down the hill into what we call a *pundle* . . . because it is not a pond nor a puddle!
The umbrella pine on the left was planted in honor of my husband's mom when she passed away over 30 years ago. It's one of our favorite trees.
The leaves have already fallen from the tall ash tree on the left.
They are always the first to drop.
Happy Tree-Mendous Tuesday, everyone!
15 week into the year and over 30 days into our stay at home order. I decided to get out in our garden with a macro lens. Caroline has a Viola planted in our front flower bed. Though small, the flowers have such vibrant colors.
... stayed home 😊
I've had this little doggie brooch for years. I cant remember where I got it - maybe from one of my aunties, but I love it, and have kept it safe all these years.

Please dear friends stay home, stay safe. We need to fight this pandemic all together but from home. But you can stay connected via internet or by phone with your friends and love ones, keeping your safe distance.
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new virus.
The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell.
How it spreads:
Coronavirus disease spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It also spreads when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.

Staying home these past few weeks has allowed me to reflect back on some past trips and adventures, as well as look forward to future ones once these dire times are over, whenever that may be.
I've never released this image even though I processed it several years ago. I stumbled upon these two crossing sword ferns as a friend and I took a late afternoon hike one day. The sun was nice enough to split two of the giant trees (super small in this wide angle image). Seeing this image on my hard drive reminded me to stay patient and positive as brighter times will always be ahead.
Day 9 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!
Not sure if the neighbors thought I needed some special entertainment after 9 days at home or if this was for their own amusement. Either way I managed to get photos of a few new backyard critters, including this bear and a couple of laughing crabs.
I am hoping that this virus craze will clear soon. I am wishing all of my Flickr friends safe and sane days ahead.
Please stay home, stay safe.
Thank you for your visit :)
Can you believe I get into trouble for spending too much time doing interesting things (like Flickr Friday submissions) and have to pay penance by meeting my fitbit steps target. But we have a couple of pleasant areas adjacent to walk around without becoming a bad citizen and straying from our environs. ;o)
Stay safe and well, guys.

If this caution tape were placed properly, it would be over my MOUTH! There's a reason my nick name really is Trouble.
In any case, there's no long description for this one (sorry Peanuts) I'm just running out of ideas for 365 and thought this would work. I'd really like to get my hands on some bio-hazard tape... hmmmmm...
On second thought... here's one of my favorite songs that goes quite well with this!!
Stay home. Stay safe and have food delivered to home always.
Have a great sunny day at home!

Not the best Monday, Fyero wasn't feeling well this morning so I stayed home from work to keep an eye on her. She bounced back around mid-morning but I've kept a close eye on her all day.
It's not like her to not try to murder me as I walk down the stairs half asleep first thing in the morning so when she stayed in bed while I got ready to work and didn't come down for food my spidey senses went off and I started to worry.
She did the same thing a couple years ago and it was due to dehydration and constipation so I made sure there was lots of water around the house for her.
She's perked up this evening and seemed to be mostly back to her usual self. Fingers crossed it was just a one day thing, if not, I guess it's off to the vet for us tomorrow.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.

Today was the first day of remote teaching my pupils. It feels so strange to have had the school year cut short so abruptly...
I will be spending my spare time reading, cooking, baking, tending to my plants and listening to music mainly. Expect lots of still life photos coming up too!
Stayed home for the most part to rest and stay safe again. I decided to put more of my 4x6 prints on the last parts of my wall. Got a call from Mitch and K.J and decided to chill for a bit before they headed out. The weather was supposed to rain so I didn't bring my camera, big mistake. The clouds were amazing and I failed to bring my camera, but instead I used my camera phone and took Instagram photos as alternative so not much was lost. Later that night, I decided to take some clouds and stars. Got some great news and I hope it goes through well. I'll keep you guys and gals updated. P.S Happy Birthday Mike.
