"Why don't you stay home today Momma? Look, I'm keeping your pillow warm" ❤️ Finn

“Quarantine is a time for more reading.”

Today I’m bringing you guys a fun little scene, a pool book with spidy and Deadpool. I believe many of you are already sick of staying home, but also it’s a good time for starting reading. The scene inspired by my previous book moc with Oz gang, but this time I’m transforming it into a more summer time kind of mood. It’s very interesting how you can use bricks to build all kind of objects in real world. Hope you guys enjoy, and stay safe at home.

I Stay Home with lots of books, lots of cooking, and lots of games with my family - those in my house and those far away.

Staying Home In The Pandemic

I bought these ornaments from Target last year. Little did I know that mug would be so prophetic. Stay safe everyone and Happy Holidays! <3

My son reacts to his 63rd day without leaving home.

Did you ever have a day where you were too tired to go out, but your hair just looked too good to stay home?

I bring my camera with me as we head over to hold Percy; all of us staying home for a few weeks so this can happen. I ask my son to take this for me so I can frame it. I am surprised at how long he is happy in my lap, having not been held by anyone but mom and dad for so long. He is happy to coo and giggle and reach for my face. My heart fills and tears flow.

We decided to stay home this weekend, the weather prediction was not that great. Strong wind and lots of rain was the forecast.

So a few photos from a few weeks ago when we had some spring like temperatures. Because of the high temperatures and sun a few of our crocuses did show up.

Used one of the older cameras for these color photos. The Canon Eos 1 was selected for a change .

The Canon Eos 1 is the first from a long range of professional Canon Eos 1 cameras. The Eos 1 was introduced in 1989 and this one and all the others Eos 1 cameras digital and analog are build like tanks. This one might have some marks and scars but still goes strong

Loaded the Eos 1 with some Fujicolor Superia 200 (Expiry date 12-2014)

Developing was done at home with our Cinestill Cs41 kit at 39c and 4 minutes

This was the seventh film with the new batch of developer mixed on September 9 2020

Curious if we can reach over 25 films again and 10 months with this new batch.

The previous developer batch was used to develop 28 films (135-36 format) over an period of 10 months without any problems.

The Cinestill CS41 does stay in good working condition if kept cool, dark and oxygen free.

This build came to be due to multiple inspirations. The main 2 were: a university project and Innovalugs building contest.

The university project is based on the theme of the current situation with the corona virus. Most people are staying at home, or at least should be and therefore a sedentary life is being forced on us. Something that is also developing a lot more is balcony lifestyle. Italy is one of the most affected countries by the virus so I wanted the architecture and colors to look Mediterranean, lots of flowers and colors.

The other main inspiration is Innovalugs building contest. The theme was symmetry. Originally I wanted to try some landscape build with vegetation and terrain but then decided to build a facade of a building. I still tried to include as many plants as possible.

The other main motive is the runway. The airplane flying in the sky. Something that now looks like the past to us but is supposed to represent hope that one day everything will go back to as it was. Another idea I wanted to originally try is building a road with the low angle perspective fading off in the distance. Even though I didn’t end up doing that I tried to incorporate it in the build somehow. I achieved that with the water drainage pipe going down the middle of the build and the facade popping out more on the sides.

I wanted to include people in the creation but because it’s so not too easy to find symmetrical body prints I didn’t end up doing that in the main photo. I also think the picture would be a bit too colorful.

Well all in all, that’s it. Hope you like it. Stay safe and stay home! :)

It looks like 2020 is the worst year of our lives.

Overall results, with a horrible global pandemic, growing economic and racial inequality, terrorists’ attacks, not finishing wars, a divisive elections in USA, wildfires, even murder hornets etc., who can dispute that 2020 has been dreadful?

However, I hope that the next year will be better, it has to be better!

I wish you happy, healthy and full of fun Christmas!

Please stay home, it could save lives!

I believe in self-assertion

Destiny or slight diversion

Now it seems I've got my head on straight

I'm a freak

An apperitian

Seems I've made the right decision

Try to turn back now, it might be too late

And it's off to the morning and back again

Same old day, same situation

My happiness is back as if to say

I wanna stay home today

Don't wanna go out

If anyone comes to play

Gonna get thrown out

I wanna stay home today

Don't want no company

No way

Yeah, yeah, yeah

A simple life's my cup of tea

I don't need nobody but me

What I wouldn't give just to be left alone

I wanna be a millionaire someday

And know what it feels like to give it away

Watch me march to the beat of my own drum

And it's over and over and over again

Same old day, same situation

The happiness is back as if to say

I wanna stay home today

Don't wanna go out

If anyone comes my way

Gonna get thrown out

I wanna stay home today

Don't want no company

No way

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Same rain every day

Everyone just step away

Come another- Come another- Come another day

I wanna stay home today

I wanna stay home today,

I wanna stay home, stay home, stay home, stay h-

I wanna stay home today

Don't wanna go out

If anyone comes to play

Gonna get thrown out

I wanna stay home today

Don't want no company

No way

Nikon FM, Trix film D76 developer

The date was April 17th and Heidi would have been perfectly happy staying home in the boonies. But I needed a museum fix. So we went to Manhattan for a weekend.

It didn't exactly go according to plan because when I attempted to leave her in the hotel room it sounded like the Spanish Inquisition had gotten hold of her.

The original plan was early check in followed by an NYC park tour for Heidi, then dinner in the room, followed by me making the evening hours at the Metropolitan Museum while Heidi watches HBO in the room. On the walk up Sixth Avenue Heidi turned out to be a genius at finding and quickly consuming discarded food. In just four blocks to Bryant Park she learned to pretend she didn't see the food until the last second, then dive for it. I'd have to guess that at least thirty people stopped to pet her, so the four blocks was around a one hour walk. It was a nice day in the park and the library grounds.

Back in the room I had a chicken dinner and Heidi had a double portion of Science Diet. After I closed the door with her on the other side, I just couldn't leave her there wailing in pain. So we walked all night, first Madison Square Park then Union Square Park. Heidi was overwhelmed by the number of dogs in the Madison Square dog park but eventually joined in the fun.

The evening ended on a highlight. I wasn't going to New York without a food stand fix. We came across a nice looking Halil food stand at Greeley Square. While I was getting my usual, shawarma with rice and tabbouleh, the cook said "I have some chicken that I haven't flavored yet. Should I grill up some for your dog." I said "Yes!" Heidi loved it.

After that, the most exercise she had gotten in a single day, this photo captures all she had left the next morning. Too tired to even annihilate a Himmilyan stick.
