The Ipswich City Big Band is a community based jazz big band that regularly performs in Ipswich and Brisbane engaging in both community and private functions.
We also undertake tours to regional Queensland for festivals. The Band performs a range of traditional and modern big band music in various styles including swing, latin, pop and funk.
This wasn’t Hawaiian Jake Shimabukuro’s first visit to the Byron Bay Bluesfest, but it was the first time I’d seen the boundary-crossing ukulele virtuoso. I have seen some of his re-worked classics on Youtube. His instrumental compilation including Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and Franz Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’ had me in tears.

KISS @ Madison Square Garden MSG NYC 1977. I used my Minolta XE-7 with a 400mm 6.3 cheap preset handheld with Kodacolor 100 that I push-developed to 200 ASA. Ladies and gentlemen is there a Doctor in the house? We have a bleeder.

: This is the Envy Nightlife nightclub, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico that was recently upgraded by I-5 Design and Manufacture. Concealed LED lighting in the curved cornice illuminates the venue, providing this venue with and exciting and energetic glow. Suspended from the ceiling are tall chain curtains, which have a pattern interweaved within the chains and are illuminated from above with color-changing LED’s. To view more casino design, click.

We first saw the delightfully frentic Round Mountain Girls at their first Bluesfest gig on the advice of friends, and loved them. We make sure to catch them at every opportunity.
