I hope all of you are in good health and enjoying the best. I would like to sincerely thank you all for your genuine communications. They’re are always valued and appreciated.
So, I found this growing dove in a random place, where it looked sick, sad and forsaken.
I tried to communicate and lend a hand but after some attempts, it flew away and disappeared.
I guess it’s a case of an early mother’s loss. A real grief that young dove was experiencing.

Designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au, this 1,300-seat hall is celebrated as one of the quietest symphonic spaces in Europe, boasting a complex acoustic environment co-engineered by Arup. It normally echoes with the sounds of the resident Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, but in this still moment, the architecture itself takes center stage.

Accomplished kora playing maverick Jally Kebba Susso is a UK based griot, born and raised in 74 generations of Gambian musical heritage. But he is not your ordinary griot.
Forging a new trajectory of sound for the West African harp - songwriter and composer - he honed his own upbeat electronic sound over years of experimentation on the London underground scene since 2002 and as a core member of Afriquoi.
Skilfully mixing contemporary Mandinka and Wollof music, this is a new blend of afro-futurist psychedelic funky kora that is immediately accessible and uplifting, yet filled with nuance and intoxicating rhythmical layers that give the music depth and intrigue.
Raised in a household of musicians, Jally Kebba was exposed to incredible musicianship from a very early age and under the guidance of his father Bully Suso, a very well-respected kora player and his elder brothers, by 13 he was touring internationally across
Europe.
In 2007 he formed his band Manding Sabu and with them ran a highly acclaimed African music residency night at Passing Clouds for 5 years called Strings on Fire. He has released two albums of original compositions - Banjul- London (2017) and Malaye Warr
(2012) and is gigging extensively at festivals and venues across UK and Europe.
The new Freedom EP was released in 2021, the punchiest offering to date, pushed musical boundaries for afro-electro kora. Precision, speed and a merciless energy characterise their performance style making them solid dance floor fillers.

Finally, Ruby's bicycle show debuted this evening! I know, I've been talking about how hard Ruby was working, practising and rehearsing all the time. You did not believe me, perhaps, but what could I do, Ruby just doesn't like to be photographed all the time! Not only that she's shy, she also wants to keep some secrets. She wants the audience at the circus to be the first people who ever see her shows. Some photos including hints to her choreography would leave her sad and uninspired...
Yes, "her shows", since there are more than one. She's always been the starring actress of Madam Argall's circus and had to master more than one field. But let's talk about these later ^_^ Because it was a very tiring night, Ruby just finished her show and is removing her make-up at the backstage. I know she's tired, but she also can't help but to smile all the time, which means everything went well at the stage and she felt the love coming from her fans...
Here is a photo I managed to take, when her name was being announced and just before she was about to take stage. "I've been on the stage for so many years now," she says, "but every single time my heart's pounding in my chest like it's the first time..." ♥
(I made her dress and bicycle, and was able to find the perfect ballerina shoes thanks to a dear friend ♥)

This is Kip, the charismatic frontman of London-based band Steak. With their groovy fuzz sound, they put on a great show at Desertfest last weekend. Really enjoyed them.
Proper DSLRs and other professional cameras were only allowed for accredited photographers during the festival, and since I no longer own a decent pocket camera, I made do with my phone.

I just survived three days of festival mayhem — it was absolutely glorious: 22 bands over 3 days, roughly 8 hours of music each day.
Long live music, long live rock!
Going through my archives and deleting old pictures, I came across this one, which caught my attention. It's part of a theater curtain with stage lights on the left. Not the best image as I shot this in low light with a ridiculously high ISO and hand held, but never the less, it held a bit of appeal. Maybe I'm just thinking of the program icons on my desktop monitor. In any case, some creative editing enhanced color but the strong noise reduction also reduced sharpness in those lights. Happy Sliders Sunday!

The unmistakable sound of Bere Gratis filled Sibiu's historic city centre during the 2026 Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS). One of Romania's most enduring and popular pop-rock bands, Bere Gratis have been entertaining audiences for more than a quarter of a century with their infectious melodies, energetic live performances and crowd-pleasing anthems. As darkness fell, dramatic stage lighting and a sea of enthusiastic fans transformed the festival into a celebration of Romanian live music, proving why the band continues to attract generations of concertgoers.
A single rosebud, almost ready to open up. It was late in the afternoon, so the sun was providing a nice "stagelight".
