This is one of my favorite pictures from the Save the Sound Benefit concert on Friday night. Nick Adams rapping for his band True City.
I was using flash for the majority of the time, because even at 2.8 on my 24-70L, it was too dark. But I realize now that the natural light looks so much better. I need another prime that can go down to 2.0ish.
I won't be posting many of these pictures up here - they won't mean much to anyone other than those in the pictures.
For the interior of the ENVY Nightlife at the Route 66 Casino, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I-5 Design & Manufacture created a custom design theme that was electrifying and dynamic. Suspended from the ceiling is massive oval shaped structure that houses over 400 lineal feet of LED lighting, which is fully programmable, changes colors, plays large scale video files and other amazing effects. Here's a look at our April '09 "The Vineyard" Series stage design. We've been milking our big stage riser on stage for several months now. This design cost approximately $250 for the poles to make the side structures wrapped in spandex. We'll be able to use these structures for many things in the future! For the Envy Nightlife, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I-5 Design & Manufacture created custom nightclub design. Equipped with incredible, state-of-the-art lighting technology and custom décor elements, this club is like no other. The upper mezzanine, dance platforms and spiral staircase are outlined with color changing LED’s to help produce and electrifying atmosphere and add drama to the venue. This is a new to us reproduction of a stage lamp used in drama productions. The original would offer intense, focused light (and heat!). This slick version offers intense, cool charm to any decor scheme, from industrial, to eclectic vintage, to 70s chic.

A stage being set up for some sort of concert in the Olympic park, right between the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. Long exposure was used to capture these rays.

I-5 Design and Manufacture created an interior and exterior décor remodel for the ENVY Nightlife at the Route 66 Casino, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Suspended from the center of the ceiling, above the dance floor is a gigantic oval structure equipped with LED lighting tubes that display a variety of colors and patterns, and are programmed to change to the beat of the music. Other lighting elements, such as custom gobo lights are mounted from various sections of the ceiling and the center structure that display the company logo and other programmed effects. So wonderful to shoot a gig again! Marion Ravn delivered two great sets in Molde February 27th 2021. Offspring and I stayed for both. A great coincidence that I went back to Molde in the same week that she played there. I needed this.
