With covid-19 restricting stage performances, the dancers and I gathered in the theater.
I set up the stage lights and illuminated the stage. She danced single-mindedly (and not necessarily violently).
This was our work, our breath, our way of life.
For the Route 66 Casino located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I-5 Design & Manufacture created a completely new interior and exterior upgrade that added an entirely new level to the casino’s entertainment. Color changing LED’s were designed to illuminate the entire venue, creating moods and enhancing drama throughout the club. Various lighting elements are suspended from the ceiling that display programmed video files, custom designed images and the nightclub logo. Using state-of-the-art technology, the lighting elements are able to be synchronized with the music and change colors or patterns to the beat! To view more casino design, click here.

I took this while I was on the fourth LA Cultural Photo Tour. Thanks to the great tour organizers Marty Cummins, Harry Medved, and to Bill Karz and the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau for organizing the tour and letting me participate.
A bearded man wearing glasses and a cap passionately sings into a microphone on stage. Behind him, a dramatic backdrop of illuminated geometric panels in blue, white, and red casts a modern, moody glow, highlighting his expressive performance. The shallow depth of field keeps the focus tightly on the artist, capturing the raw energy of a live musical moment.
