Sawdust Spring is one of many springs along the Sante Fe River in North Florida. It lies across the river from the popular campground Ginnie Springs but is relatively unnoticed by those anxious not to miss the tube takeout on the river.
Daphne blossoms shot into the late afternoon sun. I love the Spring spectrum of of colors and light.

The tiny flowers on these Laurel 'candles' are now falling off, but making them look a bit like aliens from outer space...
Spring has begun to bloom in late March 2012 on the town square in Bedford, Ohio, as a Cleveland Commercial light power move makes it way through town.
Fresh new leaves give credence to the miracle of Spring. Newborn growth sprouts at the tips of this Texas Cedar Elm near Austin. New beauty, new aromas and new hope for life.
Rapeseed blossoms not yet in their full glory, but the weather suggests it is best to capture now - dull yesterday and heavy rain today 6th May.
The blossoms may be better and more intense in a few days :-) I may try a new location if the weather permits :-)

Salt Springs is the northernmost publicly accessible spring in the Ocala National Forest. It has a concrete enclosed swimming area which gives way to Salt Springs Run, an exceptionally large run that flows to Lake George, Florida's second largest lake.

I was on a nature trail yesterday morning when this beauty hopped out right in front of me. We both froze & I started taking shots. Could not have found a better subject, light and background.

I stepped out into the garden yesterday after dinner and found this little wren singing its heart out while perched on the fence - its mate was singing back from the tree at the end of the garden, a lovely sound. Earley, Reading, Berkshire, UK
Spring has sprung here and the quince are just bursting out all over again! But no bees yet. Shot in SuperMacro.

Sunday prayers: “for the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
