These little wildflowers were growing at camp inside the edge of the rocks of our fire pit. What a nice surprise when we got to camp . You can see one of the rocks in the background . The colors of it anyway.

This bus has since been renumbered to 11A. It seems like this school district frequently renumbers buses in their fleet.

Happy "Last Fence Friday of Spring"! This fence is in front of another one of my favorite local farmhouses. All I really ever knew about this house, other than the fact that I loved it, was that is was supposedly haunted. When I met the owner, I had to ask, and she did tell me that it was haunted when the previous owners had lived there and had a baby. It was haunted by a young woman who would be seen sitting on the porch. She had lost her own child and was there to help take care of the baby. The people that own the house now are an older couple, and since they did not have young children living with them, they had never seen the ghost or encountered anything out of the ordinary. Every night I notice how pretty the light is hitting the fence and the yard in the evening before sunset.
Happy Fence Friday as we turn the corner and head into the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer!

Hart Springs is a county park located in Bell, FL along the Suwannee River. The park contains two springs and a swim area featuring a diving platform. Not just for swimming, visitors can also walk a boardwalk stretching along the spring run until it meets with the Suwannee River, which it then follows until it loops around to a campground.
This Spring/Summer I had the enjoyment to walk around my neighborhood, the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, and in my own front and back yard! The Lilac Bushes are in both my front yard and my back yard. These particular white lilacs are in my front yard. Spring is such a beautiful time of year when nature brings us new life! Summer carries it on. Photo Images credited to Vickielynne Photography and Designs(VLP & Designs) Images may be designed on wearable art and home essentials at www.vlpdesigns.com
