That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!

Spring showing up very slowly, as usual. It rains, it snows, it rains again. But the birds are back, which is really nice to see.

Heavy rains turned to snow and we end up with a not so fine spring day.

Here is an image of a beautifully blossoming cherry tree. Due to the warmer climate, the trees in Haspengouw bloom a few weeks earlier. As a result, the green leaves emerge simultaneously with the flowers, blending the radiant white with green. In the backlight, this still yields an enchanting result.

From the archives, no color here yet.

I have three plum trees . When they bloom it looks like snow and the smell of the flowers is intoxicating. The bees were everywhere along with other types of flies, butterflies , moths and insects. I had a few run into me as I was standing in their flight patterns. When you looked up all you could see were bee and insects zooming around the flowers.Springs first bounty for these jolly feasters. !

I´ve seen the bug too late (at the PC)... So it isn´t really focused - but I like it anyway!

Just a particular setting on a very special lens, the Nikon 135mm F2 DC

Today (March 20th) is the 1st day of spring, which also marks the 1st day of the Iranian new year (known as Nowrooz). A decorated table with fruits and vegetables (known as Haftseen) is a custom to celebrate the arrival of spring.
