I ride past this field everyday when I ride my bike and I have been watching it get more intense in color...... this is the peek I believe!

Spring has sprung and so have the spring black bear cubs in Cades Cove, Tennessee. It was a joy to photograph them Monday. I love them so!
Mama bear has already taught them so many vital skills, one of which is to climb trees. The spring cubs were about 25 feet in the air and deep in the woods— safe from most predators.
Thankfully, I have a nice camera and long lens to capture a nice cropped shot:)

Santa Clarita in spring can be beautiful. For a brief month or two after the seasonal rains the dry landscape is transformed. I've never seen it like this before. The spring wildflowers were prolific that year in Santa Clarita. I was trying to capture this amazing scene; sometimes you come across a scene the captures your attention and sometimes your mood. I ran up the top of this little hill hopefully to capture the last rays of the sun. But circumstances wouldn't allow it and the sunset never came. But I didn't need one tonight. I love Santa Clarita in the spring.

Time for a new self-portrait, don't you think?! I can't remember the last one I did - a jump I suspect, but for some reason I sort of think of self-portrait jumps differently, mainly because they go in the 100 Jump Photographs project section!

A shot take a couple nights ago on a Spring Tide at Maristow, Plymouth. The person in the mini decided to go paddle boarding, only to return to this sight.
William Morris glass at Cragside, Northumberland. One of four figures representing the seasons of the year.
Cragside, now looked after by the National Trust, was built for the industrialist William (Lord) Armstrong.
In 1825, Yellow Springs was founded by William Mills and approximately 100 families. The village was named after nearby natural springs with waters high in iron content.
The completion of the Little Miami Railroad in 1846 brought increased commerce, inhabitants, and tourism to this area of Greene County. Many regular visitors of the 19th century came for the springs, as these were believed to have medicinal benefits. The village of Yellow Springs was incorporated in 1856.
Antioch College was founded here in 1850, and began operating in 1853 with the distinguished scholar Horace Mann as its first president.

Spring is in full swing, buds break, sun is out, ... I take a picture to offer you a little bit of mother nature! ^_^

Palm Springs International Airport has quite a few planes around but no takeoffs or landings happened when I grabbed this shot. I do like the way the jets are clustered around the terminal.
I was flying from Los Angeles to Greater Cincinnati airport at the time.
The first flowers on campus are gold crocuses. If blue come next, it will be a perfect Notre Dame spring!

this is View street ( aptly named ) the first street which is in full bloom in our town . it is late this year , normally this is in bloom in mid Feb .

Recent spring daytime temperatures around 40° F (4˝C) have started the spring thaw.
March has come in like a lamb.
A very brief floral interlude before I upload the next batch of church photos - without the coming of spring and some local churches to visit, I'd have no new photos at all. This is one of two Skimmia bushes, this one combining white flowers and below, some red berries that the birds haven't managed to reach. My other Skimmia bush, which doesn't produce berries, is also much later to produce flowers. As is often the case, it's only on closer inspection that you discover how intricate these inconspicuous flowers are.
