around the house. Yay!
By the way, one of the things about this house that really grew on me are these green-ish tiles. I hated them when we moved in, but kind of like them now. Weird.
Spring Sunrise at East Bay, Livermore, CA
A sunrise burn before raining days.
This is the scene I have been chased lately - spring green rolling hills, morning lights at right center, water reflection. All I want to add in the scene are low fog at right spot, and wild flowers.
Happy Spring!

I thought I had finished with photos of the early spring blossom. It seems that the blossom wasn’t finished with me!

Anyone else waiting somewhat impatiently for spring? I wasn't paying attention to what the groundhogs predicted so I hope it's on it's way soon!
There's just something about these last couple weeks of February that seem to drag on forever, like winter is wanting to hold on just a little bit more before letting go and giving in to spring. I can't wait for the longer days, the warmer evenings and the flowers to start appearing everywhere we look!
What's your favourite part of spring?

A mix of spring greens and snow with a lot of added rain to create these pools of water.... I hope the details will show up better than over on Facebook... I think Facebook has changed their algorithms again....would love your feedback. Thanks
A westbound Burlington Northern freight rolls past the single semaphore at milepost 190.5 west of Spring Gulch, Montana, on Montana Rail Link's 4th Subdivision.
We had very warm day on Friday that was unexpected for this time of year, but very welcome. Felt like a spring day (sans spring colors unfortunately). I grabbed my GF1 and headed out for some golden hour shooting at one of the local parks.
Desktop available as well as a couple other captures from the day on the blog.
Can't let Spring pass without one more photo of this year's cherry blossom - it was so lush. This shot was of the trees by the Stanley Park Seawall
Delicate color and a few water drops add to the beauty of this early blooming tulip.
Welcome to Spring! Thanks, as always, for stopping by and for all of your kind comments -- I appreciate them all. We are just back from a few days in Monterey County, and I will catch up over the next couple of days.

The weather over the last week has been quite conducive to flower growth in this field. I snagged this shot on the way back home to Dallas.
