Speeding tuktuks in Bangkok, Thailand. It's pretty difficult to get the moving vehicle totally sharp-especially without tripod but I still like the result.
After many hours working on a mod for the Quaketronic sound trigger(here: www.flickr.com/photos/gerard_maas/8564973590) , it's finally working with my Canon speedlites. The mod allows to connect up to 3 wired flashes, providing accurate synched triggering of all flashes at the same time with minimum uncontrolled delay.

The iconic HST125 celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2016. This power car has been painted in a retro-style British rail Inter City livery for GWR and renamed Sir Kenneth Grange in honour of the chief engineer responsible for its development. The HST125 (BR Class 43) remain the fasted diesel powered train ever produced. This is a composite image that brings out the beauty and speed of this magnificent piece of British engineering.
I was thinking the other day about a long ago attempt to shoot a book. The results were not any good since the book had too many pages.
I was mulling this over when I thought about fanning out the book to make it less dense when I flashed onto the idea of making a simple fan.
Here is the second shot of a folded fan.
If I was an origami master, I could go somewhere with this.
Cheers.
