The Sounders are a very popular MLS soccer club. At the time they were involved in a playoff series with Real Salt Lake. I was hoping to see the 2nd leg, but missed it by a day.

Sound nightclub in LA marks a return to the industrial rock n’ roll warehouse party, mashed up with cutting edge technology and audio features that set the bar for music driven nightclubs of the future. ICRAVE designed this space, which showcases a state-of-the-art A/V system, classic analog light shows, and a custom projection system that displays content in cages which run along the dance floor made of steel mesh wrapped scaffolding. The client’s original idea of a “black box” club evolved as ICRAVE drew inspiration from the building itself, a former warehouse-turned-theater. By accentuating the building’s existing structure, and incorporating materials like charred redwood and custom Caravaggio and Bosch paintings printed on canvas, burlap and suede, the space gives the impression of a burnt out baroque warehouse- with the most innovative sound system on Hollywood Boulevard.
The Gang-gang Cockatoo, Callocephalon fimbriatum, is found in the cooler and wetter forests and woodlands of Australia, particularly alpine bushland. Mostly mild grey in colour with some lighter scalloping (more pronounced and buffish in females) the male has a red head and crest, while the female has a small fluffy grey crest. It ranges throughout south-eastern Australia. The Gang-gang Cockatoo is the faunal emblem of the Australian Capital Territory. It is easily identified by its distinctive call, which is described as resembling a creaky gate, or the sound of a cork being pulled from a wine bottle.
The name Gang-gang comes from a New South Wales Aboriginal language, either Ngunnawal or Wiradjuri. It is possible both language groups called it gang gang.
"And if I listen to
the sound of white sometimes
I hear your smile
and breathe your light."

Tijdens de koude oorlog stegen dagelijks met veel gebrul Amerikaanse straaljagers op van Vliegbasis Soesterberg. The Sound of Freedom noemden omwoners het overweldigende geluid.
Local poet and musician, Tracy Jackubick, stopped by to entertain the residents with her poetry and collection of intsruments. Originally, Tracy was scheduled to play the harp and read some of her poetry. However, the harp was being repaired so she brought a collection of instruments to share with the crowd. Some of these were common like a tambourine, but she also played a conch shell and a vuvuzela. Tracy explained the different cultural purposes that some of the items were used for. She also highlighted the importance of music and sound in maintaining a positive attitude each day.

The choir sounds much better with microphones and such, so Jeffrey volunteers to run sound for the concerts. Here he's making sure all the cables are attached properly.
Named by Capt George Vancouver for Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany in 1794, the Sound is known for its humpback whales. Didn't see any here though.

Don't you wonder sometimes
About sound and vision?
Blue, blue, electric blue
That's the colour of my room
Where I will live
Blue, blue
Pale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do, nothing to say
Blue, blue
I will sit right down
Waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing
Waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude
Over my head
Don't you wonder sometimes
About sound and vision?

"Sound Mirrors" also known as "Acoustic Mirrors" at Denge near Greatstone and Dungeness. This is a former RAF site where in the late twenties and early thirties, experimental buildings were built to provide early warning of aircraft reaching Britain. The "ears" were designed to capture sound.
You can only get close to the Sound Mirrors on a couple of days a year. When we visited, a Sony crew were filming some kind of promotional video.
The Engage-TV van parked backstage. The larger truck behind it contained the control rooms from which the transmission was directed and pushed towards the TV network.

Doubtful Sound, Fiordland National Park, New Zealand
Some info of the Doubtful from wiki:
Doubtful Sound is a very large and naturally imposing fjord (despite its name) in Fiordland, in the far south west of New Zealand. It is located relatively close to the smaller but more famous and accessible Milford Sound. It took second place after said Fiord as New Zealand's most famous tourism destination.
Doubtful Sound was named 'Doubtful Harbour' in 1770 by Captain Cook, who did not enter the inlet as he was uncertain whether it was navigable under sail. It was later renamed Doubtful Sound by whalers and sealers.
